A World Began Anew [Wings of Fire] discussion

TIME LINES
Currently, we are in 5,115 AS!
AS means "After Scorching" which if you didn't know is pretty much when the dragons became the dominant life-form (rather than scavengers.)
It measures years and other such things. You can go here: https://wingsoffire.fandom.com/wiki/T...
to read a full article on the timeline of the original series. As of the most recent book (The Flames of Hope) the series itself is in 5,012 AS, and we are 103 years in the future! This means all canon dragons we know of are dead. (Obviously dragons can live for a while, but we will say they are dead!)
AGES
As for measuring ages of The Tribes, a year for us is 2.5 for them. (Us being Scavengers/Humans.)
Dragons mature faster than we do, as not only are their mindsets different, but their growth rate is different too. A full-grown dragon would be around ten years of age, which is four years old for scavengers. Birthdays are regarded as hatching-days.
Dragons can live up to 150 years old! (which is about 60 for a scavenger.) Although animi can enchant themselves to live far far longer! (As seen by Jerboa and Darkstalker.)
ANIMUS MAGIC
As seen in the series, animus magic is genetic.
The rules of this magic are fairly simple: You cannot bring a dragon back from the dead.
Currently, the tribes carrying these genes are Skywings, Nightwings, Sandwings and Seawings. (Although Hybrids are absolutely allowed to have this gene, as long as their parent, grandparent or great-great grandparent had this gene.)
Animus magic is known to skip generations, though it is perfectly possible for it to pass undetected for thousands of years. (As seen by Arctic's genes passing to Darkstalker and Whiteout, and skipping all the way down to Stonemover.)
As what happened in the series, Animus magic no longer works. But that won't apply here. (Obviously, since there's a animus dragon in the prophecy.)
HYBRIDS
You can have as many hybrids as you want, however if there are too many I will put a restriction on the amount. Hybrids CANNOT be over-powered, and you cannot have more than three tribes (however this is far far rarer and you have a limit of one.)
Hybrids abilities depend on it's parent tribes. If I had an Icewing/Silkwing hybrid, she could have weak frostbreath and silk, or strong frostbreath or just silk. Keep in mind the element of each tribe. An ice/silk hybrid can't have flamesilk because it's an icewing, but if it were sky/silk it would be much more likely. Any hybrid between a fire-breathing tribe and the icewing tribe CANNOT breathe both, it's one or the other, or none.
Hybrids usually have a body that shows the dominant tribe (the mother) and the resessive tribe (the father). A sky/sand hybrid (as order of how you write it.) would be leaner and more reddish, but with a short sail and maybe a barb. The colors can be a mixture or just the dominant tribe, it's up to you! Be creative.
Tribrids are something I will be hesitant to approve of. You have to get it almost perfect for me to even consider it. Tribrids will have the MOST watered down abilites. One of the parents should be a hybrid, so it makes sense. The tribrid would look more like their father, carrying colors, physique and powers, though the mother would tie into it as well. If you had a silk/night/sea, and the father was silk/night, you could see a chunkier build with an acromatic scheme. Tribrids have absolutely no possibility of having nightwing powers and animus power can only come from the parent with a single tribe.
FUTURE-SEEING
Nightwings with the foresight ability cannot "foresee" huge events and therefore changing the plot, without explicit permission from me. I monitor all nightwings with these powers and will correct you if you fail to contact me.
MINDREADING
Nightwings that can read minds are easily able to dip into the thoughts of others, however certain dragons can shield their thoughts, but this must be put in history or acquired abilities. An even smaller amount can feel when someone is in their mind, and I will put a limit on these as I feel is necessary.
