Personality: Crow is a charming and witty dragon, full of wonderful jokes and terrible puns. He's inclusive, bright and can be a chatterbox sometimes. He's great at brightening up a dragon's day and even better at getting dragons to be friends. Crow can also be firm and protective of his staff and students, willing to go to the ends of the world to keep them safe. He can be reckless sometimes, but he's a big sweetheart and just wants everyone to be happy. Crow is an enthusiastic but surprisingly mellow dragon, able to enter a room and brighten everything up, while also being able to keep the mood chill and quiet.

Appearance: Crow is mostly solid black, with dull rounded scales. He's lanky and long though he has a broad chest and thick tail. He has a lean and sharp face, framed by a pair of massive ram-horns, which are pure silver and glimmer in the light. He has round, friendly green eyes that are expressive and bright. Crow has vast wings, big enough to make some think he has Skywing blood, though he doesn't. His wings are somehow darker than his scales, scattered with shiny white star-scales, which curl inwards like a tornado. He is surprisingly handsome, muscles sliding over each other under taut scales. His neck scales have faint hues of green and blue and are a bit shinier than his other scales.

History: (view spoiler)[Prince Crow was quite a quiet character when he was young. His steady, unifying presence filled a conversation, making it lighter and far more docile. Crow himself was a wounded and fearful dragonet, his younger years filled with terror, dread and agony. His mother, Queen Magpie herself, was respected and regal, though at home she was different. Far, far different. The bluish-black dragon was chaotic and brash, her personality far different from the sheep’s-skin she put on. And only her son knew. Crow was quiet at home, a smile never slipped his lips, and no joyful peals of laughter ever escaped him. He was as unnoticeable as a statue. That was good. The poor dragonet would have rather disappeared than put up with his mother. Crow spent night after night in his room, high on his loft-bed and hidden in the shadows. She’d come in occasionally, befuddled from the parties she held in the Great Diamond and search for him. She’d call for him sotto voce, and stumble about his room. When he didn’t respond she’d roar and shout and throw a fit, tearing his drawings apart. “YOU LITTLE BASTARD!” Queen Magpie would shriek, flinging inkwells of raven black and cornflower blue into the walls. “I NEVER LOVED YOU! I HOPED YOU WERE A GIRL!” All Crow would do is curl up and cover his ears. Sometimes her rage would last hours, and sometimes only a few minutes. If he was unlucky enough, she’d find him, or worse, she’d apologize. Her painful soprano would snake into his ears, her words traitorous and false. Crow wanted nothing more than to believe she meant it. But the next day she’d sober and glare at him over the table, stabbing the breakfast he’d fixed for her with animosity. During their lunch excursions she’d smile and wrap a wing around him, introducing him with a honey-sweet voice. Her niceties and loving gestures were wasted on her spiteful whispers. “If only you were my heir.” She’d hiss into his ear, her snout still fixed in a smile, pretending as if she were comforting him. Crow never responded, which seemed to only make her temper worse. They’d come home and though she never hit him, she’d make sure every living moment for him was hell. Crow would sit down only to find his cushion had a sewing needle in it. “I’m so sorry!” She’d coo and purr, her voice cloyingly sweet. “I must have accidentally left it there!” Magpie would pat his head and sweep away, casting a venomous glance behind her. Crow would go to gather greens from his garden, but the leafy stalks and stems were blackened with ash. She never rang the kitchen for breakfast in bed, she only demanded Crow make his "wretched hawk eggs," before she sent him to scrub the dungeon. Of course they had a dungeon.

He'd been gleeful when he turned 10, and she sent him off somewhere else. "I don't care where you go." She'd said, her tone dismissive. The Queen waved a claw at him. "I never want to see your pathetic and entitled face ever again." And Crow did leave. He ran from the palace swiftly, not bothering to pack anything beside his recipe book and his long black embroidered cloak. He left his life behind, his title, his nobility, and escaped to Jade Mountain. Crow arrived when the Academy was in disrepair, the "Destiny Dragonets" had passed peacefully in their sleep. No one knew who would replace them. Crow thought it was a simple decision, they'd never know he was of royal blood, but they'd see how well he could lead. And he led like no other. He created order from the chaos, enforced rules, hired staff and he was respected. He was Headmaster Crow now. Not an exiled royal dragonet, not Prince Crow of the Nightwings. He was just Crow. He spun an elaborate story of where he was from, and some parts were true. His tryannous mother, his absent father. But he wasn't a noble anymore. Sometimes he was approached: "Are you the Crow? The Prince who ran away?" He'd smile and pat their head, denying it. "Just a coincidence." Crow would respond. Crow was 34 when he met Aether. She was graceful and sleek. Aether came to him seeking refuge, she looked so young, yet she was 35. He was quick to fall in love with her. She had big pale blue eyes and she spoke with a soft lilt, as if she was about to start singing. Aether was gorgeous. He found out they had conceived an egg, and Crow was afraid. He thought he'd end up being a terrible parent, as bad as his mother.

It was nearing Corvus' hatching day, the moons weren't aligned, and Crow was relieved. He wouldn't want his dragonet to hear his doubts about himself. Aether was sick, deathly sick. Her scales glowed with an uneven palor, her eyes dull and unfocused. Crow spent every last moment she had by her side, comforting her and making sure she knew she was loved. Aether passed before she could have seen her beautiful dragonet. "They have your eyes." Crow would whisper to her grave, the little black and blue dragonet perched by his feet, eyes wide and curious.

Appearance: Corvus is a long and serpentine dragon, with massive drooping wings and a well-fitted body structure. They have high and prominent cheekbones, as well as a strong and pointed jawline. Their front legs are lean and lanky, sporting a set of talons that are razor sharp and shiny. Corvus' scales are a dark inky black, with whorls of deep purple here and there. Their long skinny neck is more blue than purple, with an almost greasy sheen to it. Their snout is long and pointed, freckled with star-like scales. The underside of Corvus' wings are charcoal black, the silver scales scattering out like waves of water. Their eyes are a bright aquamarine, with hints of cobalt and mint. Their pure black horns curl around their head like a ram's, the horn-tip barely brushing their cheekbones.

Personality: Corvus portrays a cold-hearted, antisocial dragon outwardly. Their demeanor is quiet and ruthless, not afraid to insult others. On the outside, Corvus avoids all types of interaction, usually not speaking a peep unless they need to. They push others away by being rude and manipulative. On the inside, however, Corvus is afraid and has severe issues with trusting. They question everything and doubt their own skills. They're nervous and prone to panic, easily overwhelmed by anything and everything. Corvus absolutely hates being touched, no matter what, they avoid it at all costs and in the event that someone does bump into them, they freak out and run away. They doubt themselves every step of the way and doubt everyone else too. Corvus finds it so difficult to open themselves up to other people, to trust or to even share what they think. Instead, they close themselves off, snap at anyone who tries to be nice to them and self-isolate.

The only dragon they really ever open up to is their father, Crow. Corvus loves their father with every fiber of their being. They can really only stand being touched by their father, and if you get a glimpse of the two of them, you get to see the real Corvus. Sweet, shy and loving, with an absolutely pleasant personality.

History: Corvus was hatched in a quiet cave high in the mountains, with his perch open to the night sky. They never met their mother, although their father, Crow, always spoke highly of her. When they slept, the little nightwing dreamt of their mother, her glittering eyes, vast warm wings that surrounded them with love, a voice soft as silk and lovely lullabies. Corvus didn't have a mother, but they figured they didn't need one. Crow was always there for them. They grew into a more nervous personality, knowing one day they would have to go to Jade Academy. Then they turned two. The day came where Corvus would have to leave their dad and go to school. They'd never seen any other dragons besides their dad and skywings flying by. It was terrifying.

Hi there, welcome to my group. Before you can post a dragon, I ask that you visit the rules and sign to let me know you've agreed. Until then, I cannot approve her, nor can you roleplay.

As for the character herself, the first issue I see is with her tribe. The only dragons capable of water breathing are seawings, which would make her a hybrid at least. No dragons can "glow in the dark" however, seawings have bio-luminescent scales.
Second, I ask you please specify what year she was born in, according to the dates provided. (you subtract her age from the year.) The day and month are not required, as I'm unsure if dragons keep "calendars" though it is implied due to hatching days.
Third, you'd first have to request a slot before being able to be royalty, and I'm iffy on hybrids being royal.
Fourth, please provide a personality written out by you, it must be a minimum of five sentences, the same goes for appearance. Despite having a photo, you are required for a written description.
Fifth, I see that in your history you've mentioned she is in fact a hybrid, however that would go in your tribe listing, and for history please put some detail. Again, five sentences minimum.
Sixth, breathing under water would be a born ability, not acquired. As for abilities, please provide some watering down of each ability, or choose one tribe to take abilities from. (venom and color scales or glow scales and gills, or weak venom and weak gills, or some color change and glow scales, etc.)

Backstory: He hatched on the volcanic island and grew up being taught to pretend to have powers. When he was 2 the volcano erupted and his tribe was forced to flee to the rainforest.

The first issue I see, on both of them, is that you do not have all of the needed elements in their templates. There is an entire topic dedicated to templates and their criteria. Please visit the proper tabs before you submit them!
Secondly, neither of them have long enough personalities or descriptions, which are required to be at least 5 sentences long.

The first issue I see with him, other than those stated above, is that this roleplay takes place roughly 100 years after the books. I would appreciate it if you read some of the important topics first! Also make sure you request a winglet slot!

Starchaser has no other issues, however, please make sure you request a winglet slot.
