Appearance: Olivia is five feet, six inches tall, with auburn hair and a slender build. Her eyes are bright green and her face is slightly rounded, giving her a kind appearance. Her nose is on the thin side, and she has a smattering of freckles on both sides of it. She is most easily identifiable by her trademark horn-rimmed glasses, set with a small diamond on both sides, as well as the cheer uniform that she wears habitually.

Personality: Slightly ditzy at times. Olivia is the kind of girl who always likes to think of herself as a nice person, excusing any cruel behavior as 'unlike her.' She's in just about every club at LAHS, from student council to robotics, and fills up most of her time with related activities. While she's on the cheerleading squad, she's far from the best one. Currently, Olivia is acting as the interim captain (if anyone would like to create a permanent captain, simply message me). Upon discovering her powers, Olivia has mostly chosen to ignore them, preferring to maintain as normal a life as possible.

Background: Olivia grew up in a broken household, raised almost entirely by her mother. Her father would send an occasional check (since his position at the time he divorced her mother left him with a sizeable child support obligation). But he rarely visited. Her first year in middle school, Olivia began to get an inkling of her powers, when she relit the candles on her birthday cake after a friend blew them out for her. At LAHS she discovered the full extent of her powers, and resolved to hide them to the best of her abilities. For all intents and purposes, her desire is to be a normal high school girl.

Appearance: Zia is 5 feet 11 inches tall and he has fair white skin. He has brown hair and brown eyes. He typically wears football t-shirts. His hair is short and he wears a lot of California Sweatshirts, those are his favorite sweatshirts too wear. He is muscular and athletic looking. He is hot and even the girls say that he is extremely hot, but most of the girls exaggerate the way that he looks.

Personality: Zia is a caring type of guy and he loves football. He loves being around other people and he loves making new friends. He loves wrestling and he loves hanging out with new people. He loves being able to talk to others and have friends. He loves sports and he loves being around girls. He loves hanging out with his friends and he loves being himself, except for his power. He does not like his power at all and he loves trying to be as normal as possible. He loves tv and he loves skateboarding. He loves being around his teammates. Zia goes to school with his cousin, who is 17 years old and The Flyer of the Los Angeles High School Cheerleading Squad. Zia was 10 when he discovered his power to manipulate storms and he was shocked at first. He decided it was best to just hide his powers because he thought some of his human friends and teammates would freak out if they knew that he was a mutant. He plays football and he plays baseball. Personality: Alexa is nice, she loves helping out and is th most popular girl in the school, she is smart and is known, and is known to be the one who is mostly hanging out with the jocks. Alexa also is a very good listener, she can follow directions and she will always listen to your problems and is mostly going to be helping others. She is a good watcher I guess and she will watch her cheer instructor closely.

Background: When Alexa was eight she was at school, in her class room writing out an essay on beauty, she was writing when the school principal came in with an officer, she knew it had to be her dad so she got up and packed her stuff and she followed the police officer to his car. They drove for a long time and they occasionally talked about her father and her school work, she thought it was weird on how they didn't reach the topic of her mother, that's when she saw police cars, squad cars, M.E. S and a crime Investagator van parked in front of her house. Thats when she ran to her house, she had he police officer who came for her follow in after her, she ran into house and she slowly walked around her house that's when she came to the kitchen she turned a corner and saw her mother, she was peacefully lying in the ground soaked in a beautiful red liquid, Alexa screamed bloody murder and the police officer who had come for her grabbed her by the waist, she saw her father was being forced out of the house, " Daddy!" Alex screamed. " Alexa! It okay! Don't look!" Alexa's father said as he was pulled away, Alexa turned and cried into the police officers chest, he held her close and stroked her hair.

This event changed her life comepletely, she now wished that she was never born so that it never happened, but now she believes that she should avenge her mother's death appropriately.

Personality:Dexter is a huge nerd. He is very intelligent, and usually figures things out faster than others. He's just oblivious to people's feelings. He loves photography, and is always taking photos outside of school, and even in school for the yearbook. He has had a troubled past, but keeps smiling even though it still causes him trouble.
Background:It started a long time ago. Dexter's mother, Sandra, had been 19, in college majoring in photography. She was given the chance to study abroad in Ireland, and she took it. So a month after she stayed there, she met Patrick, Dexter's father. He was 22, and had fallen in love with Sandra at first sight. The two would spend a lot of time together, and eventually they started to date. But Sandra had to go back to her college in America, so Patrick decided to come with her. The two moved into an apartment together and lived together. After a year of being together, Sandra got pregnant with Patrick's child. After the young boy was born, he was named Dexter. But after the boy was born, Patrick began to act differently. He would drink heavily, and eventually would beat Sandra. This went on for 6 years as Dexter grew up. One day, Dexter had figured out he wad different from the other kids, and that he could manipulate amd control electricity. But tragedy struck when he turned 15 and started his freshman year, his father had been arrested for murdering 6 people. The last person he killed was when he was finally caught. And that last person he murdered was Dexter's mother. He had seen it with his own eyes. Blood splattered everywhere, drops of tge crimson liquid running down his face as he heard his mother's screams while she had been stabbed. Everything traumatized him, and he has nightmares of it still. After his father was finally arrested and he started high school, he was avoided because of his father, and people thought he would be a murderer too, or hurt one of them. But Dexter is a very sweet boy, though he does have attacks where he remembers things and sometimes talks to himself. But now that he's with a new family, having been adopted by a nice couple, he has been going through therapy and is getting better.

‟ feel the draw ━ Egypt's one of many words, and most of those words have some sort of sarcastic connotation to them. His tonality, as it is, holds a perpetual sarcastic lilt to it to go with the light accent he's acquired from so many years spent living with his extended family in such close proximity. It's gotten to an entirely unintended point when people just think he's a sarcastic little shit. While he's fine with it on most occasions, there are times when it gets in the way of his interactions of those around him.

Emotions have never been his strong suit, either. So, when he does feel himself getting emotional, the first response is crack some sort of sarcastic remark. He doesn't see himself as the type of person that share his feelings openly━unless it involves letting someone know how ignorant he thinks they are. But, Egypt doesn't like to show what's inside. That's boring, unnecessary, terrifying. Not even his closest friends are aware of what's really going on, especially not about the fact that he can do things with the earth around him that he's sure they can't do. ━ pulling me back ”

She's stressing over the smallest things, panicking if she doesn't think something will go right--she's a damn mess. Rather than fully addressing the problems she really has, she focuses on keeping herself busy. It's not like she isn't struggling to pay bills on her salary, or concerned about the one kid she has in daycare and those bills and a mother who's harping at her constantly for no reason other than to tell her she's going to Hell. No, she'd rather get her blood pressure rising with students who are struggling in her class and other classes and dealing with shitty break-room interactions and keeping her lover happy. Because that's easier to deal with.

Ms. Russo━which she prefers to be called━is also known to be quite snippy. Stress builds and it comes out in clipped words and curt statements directed at pretty much everyone but a select few. It all stared when she first took the job three years ago, and has only gotten worse with the introduction of mutants in the school. She thought she could handle normally hormonal teenagers, because she's been there, but she's not too sure about kids rocking abilities that could possibly harm themselves and others. Her job has gotten just a little harder because of that. She, at one point, liked challenges. But, challenges got her pregnant and alone. On the bright side, she learned that she wasn't much interested in guys.

Katya's life, aside from a series of failed relationships and mutant students, has been okay. Okay in that she's not had a mental break down in over three years, but she can feel it coming. Or is it a blossoming of power that she didn't think she had? ━ beats you black and blue ”

" big boys don't cry ━ Okay, so yes, Jen looks like a very nice person to be around, but that's not quite true. He's a dick, and not the fun kind. It's been known that he doesn't have much nice to say about those around him. It's not that he doesn't like people; he just thinks everyone around him is an idiot. Nothing personal, folks. He's also not a huge fan of the fact that people have a lot to say about his name, the little raspberry in his walk, the tinkle in his laugh, and the lank he's got going. If they can say stuff about him, why shouldn't he be able to do the same with them? Not to mention the fact that everyone and their grandmother don't get that he's not all that interested in certain activities associated with being a hormonal teenager━okay, maybe he's been doing some self-servicing every once in a while, but still.

A seventeen year old Jennai is not one to have many friends, not since he grew into his dickish nature. He's fun to be with when he's throwing shade at someone else, but wait until he gets to you. No one wants someone who's constantly pointing out their flaws as a friend. It's why the casual bullying started in the ninth grade, and is still going on. Not like he can tell his parents; they're the ones he learned it from, if we're being honest. They're on a whole other level of being complete dicks. Background: Joan was adopted because her mom had her when she was only 17, her adoptive parents (and a younger brother Peter) never told her this, but while cleaning she found her adoption papers. she was so mad she lost all control and accidentally froze her little brother putting him into a coma. Her parents never thought of her the same,they didn't know she had these powers and are in denial, and she doesn't care. All she wants is to find other people like her.

Appearance:

Personality: Layna is a very open person, and she'll talk about anything (except her parents). She gets along with almost anyone, being kind and helpful when needed. Layna can go from being very quiet to starting to ramble on and on. She's smart, caring, creative, loyal, and isn't afraid to speak her mind or stand up for herself. She also loves to express herself through all the activities she participates in.

Background: Layna's past is difficult for her. Her mother died while giving birth to her, something Layna sometimes blames herself for. Her father is also gone, having died when Layna was twelve from cancer. The cancer had been caused by all of the drinking he had done after Layna's mother's death. Layna now lives with her wealthy uncle, Charles Hewitt. The Hewitt family has many mutants in it, with Layna, her father, and uncle being included in the list. Layna's father had been a light manipulator like her, while her uncle is a fire manipulator. She first discovered her powers when she grew mad at her father before he died, and she drew the light energy out of the lamp's lightbulb into her hand. Here at LAHS, Layna is a member of the Art Club, one of the main performers of the Drama Club, a member of the concert band, and the leader of her own Book & Writing club.

Appearance: She looks like mawh
Personality: Ella is a socially awkward girl when it comes to talking to people that she doesn't know. Ella needs people to be patient with them when they first meet her, so they get to know how nice, funny, and sweet she can be. She’s very intelligent as well- in high school. She knows how to crack a joke around her friends, and she knows to use just the right amount of sarcasm. she’s loyal to the people is the most close to, and she’s a very good listener when people have problems or secrets that they need to get off their chest.
Background: Ella learned at a early age that her powers can get her killed. After all that what happened to her father. Instead of crying and getting over the death of her father, she pushed her emotions away. At 7 years old, she had her mother's help to push the emotions away. Paranoid, her mother taught Ella to hide her emotions and thoughts from others. After begging her mother, now almost ten years later, Ella and her twin brother, Ty, are able to join the high school for mortals.

Appearance: Nathan has long, curly black hair, soft brown eyes, and a thin nose. He’s on the taller side, a little over six feet, and his build is slightly stronger than average. Nathan usually wears shirts printed with the school logo, paired with cargo shorts. Even during the winter, his only concession to the cold is occasionally wearing his letter jacket.

Personality: Hard and mean, at least when it comes to mutants. Nathan has a long-standing hatred of them, although he couldn’t explain why. He was simply raised to hate mutants. With everyone else, Nathan is mostly aloof, preferring a few close friends. In his relationships, he tends to be more of the ‘player’ type, going after girls for a night or two. At LAHS he plays soccer and lacrosse, for which he’s lettered multiple times.

Background: The child of a reformed mutant mother and normal father, Nathan was indoctrinated into the culture of mutant hate quite early. His older brother joined the special task force created to round up mutants, and Nathan plans to follow him. His family is not exceedingly wealthy—unlike most of the other students at the school—but they still get by rather well. He drives a beat-up red pickup truck, and lives as close to a normal life as might be expected, given everything else.

Power: Shadow Manipulation. This power allows its user to transform its body completely into shadows, manipulate existing shadows, and travel through them.
Appearance:

Personality: Gywnn is a girl who doesn't care much about what other people have to say. She walks to the beat of her own drum even when other people don't agree with her. She is often times very sarcastic and she is very blunt. Gywnn tends to take things literally, which can be very annoying to those around her. Although she may come off as cold and indifferent, if you get to know her you'll find that she has a good heart. She's extremely trustworthy and loyal and will do anything she needs to for those that she holds close.

Background: Gywnn has grown up in the richest area of the town and has had all the material things that she could ever want. Her father is the CEO of a big company and is a very successful man who is known by many. What most people don't know is that her mother is good for nothing but looks. She grew up with a druggie for a mother and a father who didn't care enough to do anything about it. When her mother died from overdosing her father simply moved on the the next girl. Gywnn practically raised herself, and it is because of the little help or affection that she was given that she acts the way she does.

Personality: Silver is quite the interesting person. She loves music and she loves being around other people. The one thing she hates is delinquents and she hates when people try to boss her around. Silvia loves playing the guitar and she loves playing the piano. She loves all musical instruments and she loves singing. She loves being herself and she loves it when students ask her for help. Silver loves being around kids and she loves being around her younger second cousin, Zia. Silver is very fond of hanging out with male teachers, but not the secretaries. She loves being able to meet new people and get to know them better.
Background: Silver was the first born in her family. When she was 31 years old, her little sister Mickayla was born. Silvia got the nickname of Silver at the age of 12, when she became like a silver bullet on the track and field team at Los Angeles Middle School. At the time, nobody knew why she was excelling in her classes so far until one day where she found out that she could do accelerated probability. People were shocked and she was shunned. She was bullied and nobody really accepted her for who she was. When she was old enough, she promised never to go through that again. She became the Vice Principal of Los Angeles High at the age of 27 and she has been in that position for a long time. She hides her powers from people, but only because she does not want people to know and she does not want to be shunned again.
