Oh my god. Is this YA? I'm only on page 20 and I feel like I'm reading new adult? I did not read the synopsis so going into his blindly. Not sure I'm liking this book. Drinking and lots of inappropriate language. But I will read on.

I think it's young adult due to the ages of the characters. It reminds me a lot of dark teen movies like Thirteen and Havoc. I don't love it yet but I'm hoping there will be a turning point and we see some awesome character development. Fast reading though!

Ok I got to page 54. A lot going on. The chapter about Neville peeing in the garbage can I had to read like 3 times before figuring out he was In a nursing home. It through me! Got lost there.

The jumping back and forth between characters keeps throwing me off.

Oh no cliffhanger! Who's the dad? Putting book down now. Will read more tomorrow.

I agree, the switching perspectives is tough to follow. I'm intrigued enough to continue at least thus far. I never read books like this so it's interesting to me. I had this book confused with How to Love (another teen pregnancy book) so I kept expecting a before and after timeline like in that book. Not many of my goodreads friends have read this book, but those who have gave it 4 or 5 stars so I'm thinking it gets better!
