Oh btw did you want to make a schedule for this or more just read whatever you feel like? Either is cool with me :)
Okay, my edition only has about 300 pages, so I could probably read it in 3 days if I tried... but maybe we start slow and start with 3 chapters a day? It has 15 chapters, so that would be 5 days. And then we can always see from there if we're reading more or not :)
Damn that's almost double mine! Lol wonder how it can be so different, mine only has 288. Does it maybe have the entire trilogy in it?
I finished the first three chapters! I have to admit that it's been a little bit since I read the first one - I think it was my first book of 2022 - so I have forgotten some of the details, but the main plot lines came back quickly and I think it's off to a good start
I had so tight schelude yesterday and my visit to the library didn't happen. Dog's massage was more important :D I am going there today, I have to catch up. I have read the first one several years ago :D

Okay! Thanks for letting me know. I have had couple horrible days -.- But now it starts be better. My friend said how she has read this trilogy several times because she love it so much :D
Oh no, sorry you had such a bad couple of days :( Yes I've heard many good things about it too, hopefully they're true :)
I didn't end up reading yesterday, but I'm planning on finishing today. I don't know if you managed to start yet?
I am still reading a book I had to start because I didn't have this book on Thursday π€£ But I should finish it today and then I can binge read this one.
Chapter 3I was so thrilled when those men came to Will's home but I feel for him: he thinks he killed the man and I want to shout at him "It was the cat!!" xD xD I was so surprised why that device also said he was a murderer. That other world was so creepy but started to make sense: there is some kind of creatures that adults are afraid of. I wouldn't have left those papers there because I felt it unsure if they can return at that point.
I didn't remember if witches were good or bad but it was explained fast.

Oh wow 2017 really is quite a while ago lol, I would never have been able to remember it all. I understand why they call Will the murderer; he was the one that pushed the man, even if the cat ended up being the reason he fell in the end
Well I wouldn't count that to be murder, more like a kill :DI don't probably remember all but it isn't even necessery
Yeah I suppose it's more like manslaughter than murder, but a death is a death I guess lol. Also I finished just now. Some plotpoints were spoiled for me by the show, but oh well. Can't wait to hear your thoughts :)
Oh you have watched the series! How old is that? I remember how there were two (?) movies but was that so that we never got the third one? I have seen the movies, but remember nothing from the second one.
I haven't watched the movies, so I couldn't say. The show is only a couple years old, the third season is coming out this year. But I did notice there were quite a few differences between the second book and the second season
I finishedI loved how magical this felt. Ghosts and that almost empty town with murderous children were creepy! I was touched when Lee & Hester died :( And I felt for Will who lost his father immediately after finding him :( And all those witches are now zombies! And Lyra is missing. So much happened!
I didn't get a notification for this message :( Yes Lee's and Hester's death was so cute, but that was the part that was spoiled to me from the series. That hit me so hard in the show lol. And then Will losing his father right after he found him like you said :( You're right, so much has happened, and there's only one book left! Although it does have almost double the pages as the second (my edition anyway)
What a bummer!! I thought all the time that Serafina would come there and save them!! I got tears in my eyes! Yep the last one seems to be quite a tome :D
Well it already hit me quite hard from watching the show and I don't think it would have quite made the same impact if the first time I found out was from the book. It was just beautifully done in the show. Also, would you still like to buddyread the third? :)
Yeah the show definitely made me cry... but I don't really remember a lot from it either haha. The thing I remember most was Lee's death. Also just to be clear, was the yep for buddyreading the third book? :) If so I was thinking mayeb we could start Monday?
Yes it was, haha π€£I have some books that are due next Thursday so I should concentrate on those. I can of course always catch up if you want to start on Monday
Heyy, should we do the same for this one as for the last one? Where we make a schedule but if we feel like deviating we can?
How much would you like to read? It has 38 chapters. I already know I won't be reading too much Friday, but I'll be able to catch up Saturday/Sunday. And from then on I'll have loads of time. So I could do 5+ chapters a day if you wanted to. Maybe even more. But that depends on you and if you're up for it obviously :)
