Aussie Readers discussion

It's time to mark our calendars for our final quarterly read-a-thon for 2022. It will take place Friday 9th at 12.01am and continue until Sunday 11th December at 11.59pm in your local time zone - 3 full days :)

We read 28,689 pages last quarterly read-a-thon, so for our December/Summer readathon we'll aim for 29,000 pages.

Please post your interest here in this thread up until we begin the challenge - when the weekend is over the page numbers read will be tallied :)

If possible, check in at least once a day, more often if you want. Our cut off time for you to add your final totals with a NEW POST will be Monday 12th AEST :)

Just to WA for a couple of weeks to catch up with family. Trying to squeeze in some Christmas catch-ups and a BBQ for my son's birthday the weekend before we go.

I've done the maths from the last Readathon...28689 pages by 35 participants worked out to be around 820 pages per person. If we get another 35 participants, we'll need around 830 pages per person to reach 29000 pages. (Can you tell I'm at a bit of a loose end while watching the Australian PGA today?)

Looks like I have nothing much on that weekend, so count me in. I have some large books to finish off too!
