151. Pride and perception https://archiveofourown.org/works/443... 5 stars. A mash up of Pride and Prejudice and Persuasion (okay, only Wentworth appears in the story, but still). When Elizabeth sees a uncomfortable and suffering Darcy at the assembly, in spite of his insult, decides to help him and claims to be engaged. This makes Darcy get comfortable with her and develop a friendship and eventually they fall for each other with her lie standing between them. When Wentworth appears as her supposed betrothed, things gets out in the open and how it gets resolved forms the story. You'll love Wentworth in this interesting variation.
152. Revelations at Rosings https://archiveofourown.org/works/435... 5 stars. Instead of revealing Darcy's interference with Bingley, what if the Colonel talked about relevant matters like Darcy's admiration for Elizabeth and about Wickham's character? This changes a lot of things for ODC. This Darcy is very sweet in this story.
153. Dangerous Magic: A Pride and Prejudice Variation https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/5... 5 stars. Re-read. I'm planning to read the sequel and so was refreshing my memory of this enjoyable story.
154. Life Changes https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/4... 4 stars. Accidental Re-read. I forgot that I had read this story previously but couldn't quit once I started. Very enjoyable Darcy. In fact, I loved the entire family of Darcy.
155. Don't flatter yourself: A Pride and Prejudice Variation https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/4... 3 stars. I wanted a snubbbed Caroline story and I got it on this but the romance was very weak. And everyone Collins, Wickham, Caroline and Lady Catherine, everyone is allowed to say so much before they are put in their place. It was good once or twice but the same strategy for everyone was too repetitive.
156. So Much Wickedness https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3... 3.5 stars. Usual and unusual villains takes our story to a different path. The rub is in that nearly every villain just gets away with it.

158. Mr. Darcy Falls on His Feet: A Pride and Prejudice Variation https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/6... 5 stars. A fun holiday story paving a quick path to HEA for ODC.
159. Four Proposals of Marriage: A Pride and Prejudice Variation https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1... 5 stars. I'm a big fan of this author. I love the way she writes emotions and interactions. And friends to lovers being my favourite trope, how can I not love this?
160. A Royal Bennet https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2... 4 stars. This author manages to write the biggest and baddest villains ever. Her villains are always so depraved that they will do anything to get what they want. This book is no exception. It's very fast paced nearly till the end. You actually will be a bit disappointed with the HEA's approach which actually slows down the ride.
161. Heirs and Graces https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/7... 5 stars. Re-read. I've read this as a WIP and except for the epilogue I think it's unchanged. A very sweet story with an American Darcy with all the characteristics which makes us love him minus those which makes Elizabeth hate him. In short, a perfect Darcy but without Pemberley. This Elizabeth is so loveable. Caroline was annoying as well as amusing.
162. The House in Audley Street: A Pride and Prejudice Variation https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/5... 3.5 stars. This book was enjoyable and thrilling in parts but some parts of it were quite unbelievable. I don't want to spoil anything but I think anyone who has read this will know what I am talking about.
163. Threads of Magic: A Pride and Prejudice Fantasy Variation https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/5... 5 stars. A perfect sequel. Magical, fast paced and eventful.
164. The Scandalous Stepmother: A Pride and Prejudice Variation https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2... 3.5 stars. A really ass hat Darcy and a very confusing Elizabeth. I liked Elizabeth by herself but when she's dealing with anything Darcy, she was not herself at all. My favourite character in this story would definitely be Anne de Bourgh. She was different and there's quite a twist in the epilogue.
165. Rumors https://www.fanfiction.net/s/12175858/0/ 4 stars. Funny One shot. Miss Bingley hears a rumour about Elizabeth and HAD to share it with Darcy.

167. His Secret Betrothal: A Pride and Prejudice Variation https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1... 5 stars. A very enjoyable low angst story. Lots of wooing and interactions between ODC.
168. Bingley's Deception: A Pride and Prejudice Variation https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/5... 1 star. Did not finish. I started this one in spite of the low rating because the premise sounded interesting but what a muddle the story was. How dumb is Darcy to not know anything that's happening in his household and around him? The improbable and impossible speed in which things started happening left my mind whirling and I decided to save my head and quit reading.
169. Of Kindness and Kisses: A Pride and Prejudice Variation https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/6... 3 stars. Not a fair rating because I didn't finish this book either but for very different reasons. This one was too sweet for my taste, at least for now. May be I'll revisit this later.
170. A Sister's Curse: A Pride and Prejudice Variation https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/5... 5+ stars. This author has a great talent for writing long stories without filling it with unnecessary details or a graphic repetitive intimate scenes but keeping the tempo up all the time. The way she mixes and matches scenarios and characters are surprisingly very enjoyable.

Set after the assembly, Elizabeth sees Darcy helping somebody and they have amicable but somewhat awkward interactions. Supposedly Darcy wears such a tight waistcoat that he can't do anything without removing it and so Elizabeth walks about with an improperly attired gentleman. A whole lotta instaluv as they go from "Rude, insufferable man!" to "our future will be one of great happiness" in the course of a single morning so it wasn't entirely believable for me.

Thanks!!! I hadn't either but a JASNA region included on their summer reading Zooms. I've tried to join two meetings about other books but can't make a connection. Hmmm...oh well I have this one and a reread of #151 to thank them for.
