in 2021 I read 76 books but I can't remember how many books I managed to read.
in 2022 I managed to read 100 books, then I changed it into 150, and I read about 155 books.

I want to read 20 books this year once I get close to 20 I will up the goal

I dont keep track of mine I just read

I hope to read 50 books. But I have an annual doorstop challenge of 3-5 books of 1000+ pages. I've already complete 1 of them.

Books of this length usually turn into 5 star reads for me because they have to keep my interest for 1000+ pages. lol

I recommend The Count of Monte Cristo that’s a very long book and a classic

Thanks, DW, but I already read it. I'm running out of Tomes to read at this point (I know there are more, but...). Michener looks like he could provide me with a few, tho.

One that has always interested me is Sironia, Texas, mostly because it's considered one of the longest books in English (and, yes, I've read the Bible--multiple times.)

Yes. And War and Piece. And Atlas Shrugged. And The Tale of Genji. And Jerusalem. I have Infinite Jest and The Faerie Queene on my Challenge list for this year.

Ahhh love dickens read most but haven’t read that one or a few others great expectations, Christmas carol and tale of two cities are in my top 3

I managed to meet my goal of 36 last year and am trying for the same number this year. I read pretty slow, so it's a bit of a stretch for me. Last year, I threw in a few children's books in there. :)
