A New Dawn - (Warriors RP) discussion

Opalpaw stood next to Arcticclaw and Lightpaw, still confused about what Frostshiver was up to. After a few moments of silence, she decided to speak up. "Why are you asking us that? Frostshiver, just please tell us what's going. What are doing?" she asked.

((The biggest oof moment ever. That's happened to me before when I thought I did something, but I didn't. It's so annoying!))

"Ravenstar was kind enough to let us all take shelter in BlazeClan's camp during the fire. While they may not have enough resources to provide for all of us, they're doing the best they can, we should at least be thankful and grateful to him for even letting us be there in the first place. Where would we even go anyway?" Opalpaw asked. She was annoyed that Frostshiver didn't seem appreciative for all of BlazeClan's efforts to help every cat out.

"What choice did we have? We would've all been dead if it wasn't for Ravenstar's generosity. We're alive thanks to him. That's what matters" Opalpaw said. She knew arguing with Frostshiver was pointless, but she wanted to get her point across.

"I was just pointing out how we should be grateful for having a place to stay until we figure out a new place to stay. By the way, I have one more question for you, Frostshiver. Who is going to be the new leader?" Opalpaw asked.

Opalpaw stood there in silence. She didn't want to be leader. She was just an apprentice, after all. And she had no experience leading, so she had no idea how she would handle being leader. It was a lot of pressure on a cat to be a great leader, and she thought she would be under a lot of stress if she was to be leader.

((Maybe we should wait for Dahlia to respond and see what she says?))

Opalpaw looked at her sister in surprise. "You want to be leader? But why, Lightpaw? I'm not asking this because I doubt you. I'm asking because we're only apprentices" she said. She admired Lightpaw for her courage and willingness to be leader, though.

"If that's what you want, Lightpaw, then I will support your decision" Opalpaw said with a smile. She was still silent, not wanting to ruin her sister's chance of being leader. She just hoped the the pressure from being leader wouldn't be too much for her.

"How about Arcticclaw?" Opalpaw suggested. "That is, of course if he wants to" she said. She didn't want to pressure the warrior, but she couldn't think of another cat more capable and up to the task. Arcticclaw was a great warrior, and she knew it.

((Everyone just watching the drama unfold... XD))

"So, what do you think, Lightpaw?" Opalpaw asked her sister. She looked at her, waiting for a response. She flicked her tail nervously, scared of what would happen to her Clan in the future. Their camp was burned down, and not to mention the deaths of Beetlestar, Lostfang, Flickerfoot, and many other cats. She hoped things would get better under Lightpaw's leadership, though, although she didn't know if StarClan would approve of their choice for leader.

((Everyone grab your popcorn and drinks, because why do I have a feeling this is going to escalate quickly?))

Opalpaw was happy for her sister, but how would StarClan react? She had a feeling that they wouldn't be happy, though, as Lightpaw is only an apprentice. She stood there, waiting to see if any other cat had something to say.
