Attempting to find peace and quiet after the annoyance of that other student disturbing his reading, Arroyo escaped upwards to the Conservatory. He was hoping that no one would be around at this time of day, so when he entered, the first thing he did was look around thoroughly for others before relaxing and perching on one of the windowsills before opening his book and starting to read, relaxing in the silence that permeated the room.

Ten times. Ten times, that students thought he- Mr. Lilian Shaw - was a student as well. It was hilarious for the first two students, who were probably new ones and non-Lufts. But it was just getting ridiculous. He was used to the lack of recognition from non-Luft students because he will never teach them, but he only used to get ignorant students maybe twice a week. Why, the day wasn't over yet and he already counted ten. It was slightly annoying, so instead of entering empty hallways, he decided to enter the Conservatory instead. It used to be always empty, so he didn't check and instead just walked in with a book on his hand. Maybe it's my outfit, he momentarily thought without looking at his surroundings, or the sweater I'm wearing. I think none of my fellow professors wear sweaters like mine.

At the sound of footsteps upon the stone floor, he lifted his head from the book with an annoyed scowl affixed upon his face, ready to let fly whatever words would be needed to chase the person who dared intrude on his solitude out of the area. So, it was with mild surprise that he found himself staring at....he squinted, trying to remember. Oh, it was that youngish teacher, the one who wore the sweaters and got passed off as a student all the time. What was he doing up here? Well, he could ask, but doing so would probably initiate conversation and after talking with Allystair, he wasn't sure he wanted to talk again. But then again, it was a teacher up here, surely they would understand wanting just a brief question and answer, right? Seeing as how so long as the other male was within the Conservatory with him, the less likely it would be for him to think straight and accomplish anything, he sighed and closed his book after marking the page. "What are you doing up here?" he asked, his tone bored and quite possibly making him sound rather rude.

Too preoccupied, Lilian wasn't much shocked though that someone else was in the conservatory. Someone who didn't sound to be too respectful. He wasn't one to reprimand students in such a small scale type of disrespect, plus, he noticed that the student was no Luft. He was only strict when it comes to students who are definitely going to be under his tutelage, so there was no use getting strict with someone who he will unlikely meet again in a classroom. "I was looking for a quiet place to read a book." He answered the younger male, slightly holding up the said book to prove his point. His face clearly held no frown nor smile. Simply formal. "It seems like every nook and cranny in this academy is occupied by students, nowadays. How about you, mr...?" He asked, for it was only customary and polite to answer questions and ask for their names. Hopefully, this one knows who he is.

"I go by Arroyo." He said after a moment. "And yeah, everywhere I've tried to go so far to read has been flooded with the other students." He sighed. "First place I found for peace and quiet. Do you plan on interrupting the silence.....I don't recall your name, I just know your a Luft teacher." he added with a shrug, marking the page on the book he still hadn't been able to finish more than a page of to stare at Lilian.

"I am the Luft Coach." Lilin told the student named Arroyo, his eyes analyzing the whole male. He didn't seemed to be out of the ordinary. Just a student who wanted peace and quiet. "And I do prefer to be called Mr. Shaw, if you are ever planning to address me." Or not. He wasn't interacting to such an extent yet to infer whether Arroyo was one of those displeasing disrespectful students who thought they were better than their professors, so he didn't know whether the guy was going on his 'naughty' list. "I never planned to interrupt my own silence, seeing as you were the one who first spoke. But do feel free to leave the room if you are 'disturbed' by my presence." Rudeness was number one on his list of no-no's. Students with that certain trait was definitely going to be noted, Luft or not.

"Well, seeing as how I was seeking solitude, Mr. Shaw, you can forgive me for encroaching on the silence to ensure that my reading would not be bothered. Just because everyone else in this school put everything on hold for repairs does not mean I'm going to neglect my studies. I can teach myself well enough, and am not going to be behind on anything if I can help it when the classes start up again. But with all the banging and moving of things around during my down time, it is near impossible to find somewhere alone and quiet to actually do any studying." he held his book up, which was a tome on the history of Arendelle that had been written before Prince Hans had taken over, it told the true history and not the embellished version printed out to make him and his descendants look good. "I've not gotten more than a few pages in before someone interrupts me every time I open the book."

Lilian nodded, taking in the information that the student gave him. It was ridiculous how wordy the younger male was. The words that the other guy used could have been much more simpler, and yet there goes the absence of simplicity. It was odd how some students differ from each other. Anyway, based on what Arroyo said, it was a definite that Lilian was talking to a part of the majority of students who studies a lot. "It's rather hard to find solitude these says, I'm afraid." He stated, his eyes only lingering on the book that Arroyo held up. He had read that book already, a few times. "But it's nice to know students still do what they are supposed to do." He added, knowing that half of the student populace don't do well in academics. But to be fair, those who don't do well in academics are usually the ones who excel in actual training.

"So I've noticed." Arroyo murmured, moving to get comfortable on the window ledge. "Still.....you seem like you are a rather decent person. And you haven't annoyed me nearly as much as that other person I ran into earlier." he wanted to rub his temples at just the thought of that Allystair weirdo. He hoped they never met again, that's for sure. "So...." his voice trailed off and he frowned. Was he trying to incite the continuation of a conversation? Weird. He was not normally inclined to perform such actions.

Lilian observed. "Well, I'll take that as a compliment. It's rather hard to be not annoyed with people nowadays after all." He said, a small smile on his face. It was true. Most of the time he was annoyed by students, but really, why wouldn't he be? "So, I know you're not a Luft student, so what are you, if you don't mind me asking?" He asked, interested on whichever faction the younger male belonged to. Most of the time his own students rarely see him in the corridors, so he might as well make acquaintances.

Arroyo glanced up at him again and said, "I'm a student in the Vann faction." For some reason, he wasn't feeling as annoyed over having to speak to him as he did with Allystair. But then again, everything about that other boy had aggravated him. Perhaps he just was better with those older than him than those closer to his age range. "And I agree with you. Most of the other students around here aggravate me."
