I did the 2022 version of that challenge and I'm signed up for the 2023 as well. If you stick to reading the genre of the month it can push your boundaries. I ended up reading a few books I normally wouldn't have.

Ooh, I really like the idea of this challenge, Elena! I might steal this one 👀 lol
What did you think of Aurora Burning?
What did you think of Aurora Burning?
@Lili I loved Aurora Burning! Even more than the first book, it feels more like a space opera now as the setting is more distinctive, the narration became better and I also loved the romantic lines, they do not overpower the whole story, but just complement it. So good!@Lili, @Brittany I'm glad you like the idea :)
I feel like Aurora Burning was my favorite book of the series! Which is rare because a lot of series suffer from second book syndrome. Lol. Glad to hear you're enjoying it!

Glad to hear you're enjoying it!"Usually it is true, but I keep bumping into the series, where I love the second book the most (Caraval, Shades of Magic, now Aurora Cycle).
I do usually find that the second book is not usually my favourite in a series, but there have been exceptions to that: Legendary, Chainbreaker, Vengeful, Our Dark Duet, King of Fools, all books where I liked that book, the second book, more than the respective first books in those series.

Brittany wrote: "Oh! I'm still debating if I want to join that one"Give it a try, you can always quit.
Brittany wrote: "Yeah I'm going to do that challenge too Elena! I however do enjoy baseball, go Jays go."I do have some friends who love watching sports and do enjoy baseball too :) That's just me, I'm not into sports, I like hiking and yoga, but you can hardly name it doing sports :D
I didn't realize we were doing so many of the same challenges. I love to see what books people choose! That scavenger hunt challenge looks difficult!
✨ Brianna Raquel ✨ wrote: "I didn't realize we were doing so many of the same challenges. I love to see what books people choose! That scavenger hunt challenge looks difficult!"Indeed. I also love to see what books people read, usually I find a lot of interesting books to add to my TBR too. And yeah, that challenge is, well, challenging :D
Lol yeah it is! That was the point! To have a long standing challenge to work on at your own pace. I'll probably add more words yet
I too love seeing what people read for different challenges.
