Does anyone else notice how all of Alice Oseman's books are connected in the same universe? Like there are things that are in one book but then the same exact thing appears in another.

i think that's kind of the point. oseman's books take place in what we call the "osemanverse" and they are subtly linked. some are more obviously linked, like solitaire and heartstopper, though radio silence has some solid ties to solitaire as well, such as aled.

also Aled is one of the Charlie's friend (from Heartstopper). In Radio Silence, Oseman expanding his character.
In her site, Oseman put a timeline that include all the books so that means that the books are all in the same universe:
