I am about halfway through New YA novel "My Heart and Other Black Holes" by Jasmine Warga. Very good story so far...although it's about suicide it's definitely not a cliche sad book it is, at times, pretty philosophical.
I am half way through 'The Girl on the Train' by Paula Hawkins. I've read reviews saying it's the next 'Gone Girl'. I can see that. You follow along with two main characters wondering who's crazier than whom. You don't know what's going on, yet you have to keep reading to find out. At this point I don't even have a guess as to how it's going to end. Both Rachel and Megan seemed normal to me at first. The farther along I've read the more unstable they both seem. Right now I am thinking Rachel knows something, but didn't kill Megan. Anna is the one that's appeared normal the longest, so I'm beginning to wonder if she's the killer and trying to frame Rachel. However, the way it's read so far I change my mind with every chapter.

In nonfiction, I've been reading "One shot at Forever" by Chris Ballard "The Kingdom of Ice" by Hampton Sides, and "Penelope Fitzgerald: A Life" by Hermione Lee

Just finished Kiss of Steel by Bec McMaster. I don't usually give 5 stars unless I really liked it and was totally different than what I normally read. It was the first steampunk book that I acutally finished. Part steampunk, part paranormal romance.
Right now I'm reading "Dune" by Frank Herbert and "The Norse Myths" by Kevin Crossley-Holland. Dune is super long but I'm pretty proud of myself for being half-way through it LOL.The Norse Myths is really cool..I've been just reading a myth a night pretty much. They're pretty violent so maybe not the best pre-dreams reading material...oh well.. xD
I'm rereading To Kill A Mockingbird in anticipation of Harpers new book. Just finished 11th in the Women's Murder Club by Patterson
Finished "My Heart and Other Black Holes"-- HIGHLY recommend to any lover of Laurie Halse Anderson as well as Jay Asher's "13 Reasons Why". Beautiful story with a not-so cliche ending for once! Also sped through "Zac & Mia" by AJ Betts and it was something I could've skipped, to be honest. I already don't read a whole lot of YA but this one let me down hard. Promising friendship, but the plot just went nowhere.
