Play Book Tag discussion

The next book in the Maisie Dobbs series, this was another very enjoyable read. Maisie is still involved in secret work for the war effort, and we see her in this book working to help to choose individuals who will be sent overseas as undercover agents. I really enjoyed seeing the regular characters again, and it did have a mystery that I didn’t guess until just before it was revealed. I also liked how the mystery revolved around events that had happened in a conflict between France and Syria that I didn’t previously know anything about.
