I'm working on one right now actually, just for fun. It's a mystery, set in a tiny rural town based on my own hometown.

I think I'd try writing a paranormal romantic suspense set in rural Virginia or a cozy mystery set in a fictional small town in Minnesota.

Definitely historical fiction with a touch of magical realism. From current small town USA to the 1800's small town USA.
