Play Book Tag discussion

Beth is 35 and she can hear her biological clock ticking away. She is unmarried and desperately wants children. We spend five winters with her during the holiday season to find out how life turns out for Beth, her friends and family.

This is a contemporary romance which I've only recently started reading because I find them a light break to heavier stuff and nice reads for the holidays. I will say though, that the people of romance generally fail to see what is obvious to the rest of us and as easy as it is to have misunderstandings they thrive on them.

But despite this somewhat trite observation, I did enjoy this book and following Beth to various holiday events like the lighting of the tree on Trafalgar Square.
