A fictional book set in Algeria in 1978/79, where I worked as a teacher in a high school. It's reminiscent of Paul Bowles and Bertolucci's film The Sheltering Sky and has a thriller element along with bisexuality that creates a strong bond between friends. I loved working there and would enjoy opening a discussion on others' experiences of living and working in Algeria.
