Patricia | 1207 comments I'm going to try to read two in each category. Plays are the hardest for me and essays the easiest. I also tend to start books of poetry but rarely finish them.

Patricia | 1207 comments I finished my first book of essays: Conversations with Birds. The writer tells of different birds and what she has learned from them. She also describes different wildlife refuges I would love to visit someday.

Melissa | 144 comments This sounds very interesting. I am very interested in the various refuges. My husband and I have visited a few and even got to see a pair of whooping cranes with a juvenile on our last trip to the Texas coast. I will add this to my TBR.

Patricia | 1207 comments Finished a book of short stories by Alice Munro, Runaway: Stories. The first stories were kind of connected with the same characters, but then the others were totally separate. A little confusing at first. I guess I expected them all to be connected. Anyway, I enjoyed them overall. 4 stars

Patricia | 1207 comments Wow! I'm not doing too well on this challenge. Need to step it up!
I finished Anything Is Possible, a book of short stories by Elizabeth Strout. This is the second book in the Amgash series and though the stories center around Lucy Barton, they are mostly about other people in the town. 4 stars
