I read the first three volumes of this series back in about 2009. I have recently purchased almost all of the rest of the series, so I am very excited to re-read the first few and re-discover them! All I really remember from the series is gratuitous violence (which, for me, is awesome). I also remember seeing an advertisement for the series years ago, and thinking I would never read it because the female on the cover was over-sexualized. Well, thankfully, in the plot she really isn't. At least, not as much as I had initially imagined.
