Jess | 3721 comments I just picked up her book Seduced By Shadows by Jessa Slade . I haven't started it yet, but I was wondering if anyone has gotten around to reading Slade yet and had any comments on her.

new_user Nope, but I read the first chapter, and I was interested. It's on my TBR.

Kelley Anne | 1619 comments Ohh! Haven't read it, but just read what it's about and it sounds great. i have a couple of other books that are sitting on my bedside table to get to first, but I think I'm going to move this one up to the top of the tbr!

Jess | 3721 comments I'm reading it now and it is a very interesting concept. I like the plot and the characters are really interesting. I want to finish it but I'm at work lol

Joseph (bluemanticore) | 208 comments From the description of the book, it doesn't quite sound like my cup of tea, but I just wanted to suggest that if you do like this series, you might also like Vicki Pettersson's Sign of the Zodiac series. Slade's book sounds very similar to Pettersson's work. The first in the series is The Scent of Shadows.

new_user The key difference being that Slade is PNR, I think. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Kelley Anne | 1619 comments Is Vicki Petterson more Urban Fantasy?

message 8: by new_user (new)

new_user I would say so, since it follows the same character throughout.

message 9: by Jess (new)

Jess | 3721 comments I thought that it was also PNR, but on Slade's website, she calls herself UF. That's why I put her thread here lol.

Kelley Anne | 1619 comments Maybe it's one of those books that kinda stradles the line between PNR and UF.
