It sounds like sleep deprivation is at the center of this story. Did anyone read Stay Awake by Megan Goldin? Sleep deprivation is at the heart of that book as well.

I read Stay Awake. I enjoyed that one.

Hi John,I have checked Amazon.au and Kobo - All the Dangerous Things
by Stacy Willingham will not come to Australia until February. Sorry I can not get involved with the discussion of this book at this time.
I have and currently reading a book that has the storyline of "true-crime" podcaster/reporter/blogger but they have been mainly from the interviewer perspective. It seems like this genre of thriller/mystery has become popular. Hopefully this one will provide a different perspective as it seems to be strictly from the victim of the crime. I have a feeling we also may have an unreliable narrator on our hands...
This book is from the POV of a mother whose son was taken - kidnapped. Which reminds me of Little Secrets by Jennifer Hillier, which also had a POV of a mother whose son was taken. I thought that one was really well done, has anyone else read it?

I have a feeling that Isabelle will be an untrustworthy storyteller about the initial night of her son's disappearance forcing us as readers to question her credibility. This is just a theory after reading the summary.

It's going to be released tomorrow for those of us who are still waiting! 😎 I had some audible credits, so I'm going to listen to it. But I need to finish listening to my current book first. I'll probably get started on All the Dangerous Things this weekend. Happy reading/listening, everyone! 📚🎧

Today is the release of the book! (at least for many of us....we will plan better in the future so we don't have a book that isn't available worldwide)
Let the reading begin!

One year ago, Isabelle Drake's life changed forever: her toddler son, Mason, was taken out of his crib in the middle of the night while she and her husband were asleep in the next room. With little evidence and few leads for the police to chase, the case quickly went cold. However, Isabelle cannot rest until Mason is returned to her—literally.
Except for the occasional catnap or small blackout where she loses track of time, she hasn’t slept in a year.
Isabelle's entire existence now revolves around finding him, but she knows she can’t go on this way forever. In hopes of jarring loose a new witness or buried clue, she agrees to be interviewed by a true-crime podcaster—but his interest in Isabelle's past makes her nervous. His incessant questioning paired with her severe insomnia has brought up uncomfortable memories from her own childhood, making Isabelle start to doubt her recollection of the night of Mason’s disappearance, as well as second-guess who she can trust... including herself. But she is determined to figure out the truth no matter where it leads.
