Rick | 2353 comments Looks like some more lost episodes are getting animated. Doctor Who: The Smugglers and Doctor Who: The Underwater Menace have been announced as getting the animated treatment.

Rick | 2353 comments As these are both from the fourth season, Troughton’s first and the last couple of episodes with Hartnell, I’m wondering if this means that this season will be getting a box set Blu-ray release soon. But they’d still need to animate Doctor Who: The Highlanders and Doctor Who: The Evil of the Daleks. So I could be prematurely anticipating this.

Travis (travishiltz) | 2508 comments Nice!
I've enjoyed the Hartnell historicals and always been interested in his time with Ben and Polly, so happy to hear about the Smugglers.

Rick | 2353 comments Hmm, 🤔
July is my half-birthday …

Travis (travishiltz) | 2508 comments The Savages has a release date, and yet again, it's right before my birthday!!

Nice of the BBC to remember, as well as giving me something to pass the time until we find out what's next for the TV show.

Rick | 2353 comments I did really enjoy having Jodie Whittaker sing Happy Birthday (technically to Mandip Gill) on my birthday (Gill and I apparently share a birthday) during the theatrical screening of Spyfall Part 1 & 2. That's was a WONDERFUL treat.

So yeah, it is nice of them to to remember isn't it?

The BBC is so thoughtful that way.

If they're listening, my birthday is in june and I'd really like the Smugglers this year...
