Jami Hunt-Williams | 1 comments Soooo, I'm actually from Mexico, MO, but we are low on authors here so I'm snaking into your group. What has everyone written?

Allison | 2 comments I had completely forgotten I was in this group. My latest book I'm working on is a spin-off of a trilogy I recently finished. Some of my works are audiobooks either on my radio show or my YouTube channel; other than that, most of my books aren't published. And I've written over 35 books in the past ten years.

Karyn Rae | 1 comments I'm in Columbia & have two books out. The Achilles Heel & The Achilles Heart, both published through my company that I started last year: Karyn Rae Publishing. It's been quite a ride. Good to hear from fellow women authors! Cheers!

Allison | 2 comments Karyn, I'm interested in learning your rates. Even though I'm lousy at saving money, I intend to publish one of my books this year or the next.

Hi Jami, I just joined this group today. I am a children's book author and my first book, Broken Slippers, is for girls age 8-12. I have two events coming up in Columbia in November if you are interested in attending. November 7 at MIZZOU Student Center and on November 14 at the Daniel Boone Public Library. I will be available to meet and sign books. Broken Slippers has been officially entered into the 12th Annual USA Book Awards 2015 in the children's fiction category. Winners will be announced this November. You can learn more about me and Broken Slippers at www.amazon.com/author/deborah-sue-crews. I am also on Twitter @deborahsuecrews. I have a kindergarten book coming out soon, Telly's Tail, and I believe that this book will also be well received by readers. I do all of my own illustrations. I am very glad to meet you.

Jami, thank you for breathing new life into this group. Like Allison, I forgot that this group existed (and I may or may not have started it, haha). I'm pleasantly surprised to see that the membership has grown to 28.

I'm author of Black Collar, a dark literary thriller about the disastrous consequences of ending net neutrality.

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00G2G13RU

I self-published Black Collar after being strung along by a literary agency for 8 months. Black Collar has been in and out of agents' hands ever since. I'm currently focused on my next project, which I'll finish in early 2016.

I'm on twitter as http://www.twitter.com/sullywrites, and I blog at http://www.uncommonrebels.com

Great to hear about everyone's books. I'm a good knowledge source for those seeking info on agents, querying, formatting Word or ebook files, Amazon KDP, and marketing services (what has and hasn't worked). Happy to share what I know.
Regards,
Daniel

Genevieve Howard | 1 comments I'm not on Good Reads often I guess and somehow missed this thread! I'm Genevieve and I'll be at the same two events that Deborah mentioned. Look forward to seeing a lot of local writers there!

I have a new book out, Creative Women's Devotional (http://www.amazon.com/Creative-Womens...).

I'll add both of you on Twitter. I'm HowGen there (https://twitter.com/HowGen)

I'm doing NaNoWriMo so November will be a month of caffeine for me.

Best of luck with your writing, everyone!

Carrie Koepke | 1 comments I look forward to meeting many of you at the upcoming events.

I am a freelance writer - and closing in on getting my novel into the next stages of publication.

You can also find me hosting the Meet the Author book talk events on the third Saturday of each month at the Boone County Historical Society.

C.F. Rabbiosi | 1 comments Hi there, I moved to Columbia last year, and was wondering if anyone has a new book they're working on and would like to swap for creative development? Basically, I'd like to hear from Alpha readers who can tell me their thoughts on storyline, characters and such, and would do the same for them : )

Deni Cary | 1 comments I'm not good at getting over to Goodreads, but I thought I'd check in. If anyone gets notifications, perhaps we can start a discussion--or continue one. I see that a year ago (A Year Ago!) C.F. posted and no one replied. Sorry about that--but I am interested in your offer for a creative development book swap, now that mine is a couple thousand words from complete. If you get this, feel free to ping me, or email: denicaryphillips@gmail.com
