I signed up on the app. I have a copy of Rules of Civility that I have been meaning to read and it's a NYT bestseller.
I have read A Quiet Life by Ethan Joella for Book with 65+ character, The Villa by Rachel Hawkins for a book about friends, and The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches by Sangu Mandanna for book with a person of Color Main Character. I would recommend all of them! The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches is very cute and heartwarming.
I’ve read “The Hate U Give” for the banned book option. I read “I’m Glad My Mom Died” for the NYT bestseller option. I rated both 5 stars and highly recommend!
I'm reading "The Midnight Library" for the NYT option. As someone who had a horrible 2022 and often focuses on the sliding doors "what ifs?" of life, it's a book I probably need right now.
I am reading two tall tails for an author whose initials are the same as your own. it theoretically has two authors, Sofie Kelly and Sofie Ryan, but they are the same person. whose real initials are DR, I just found out so may have to go back to the drawing board
I read whispers under ground for book with a main character who is a person of color. listening to the series is great because it has little jazz interludes between chapters.
The Hate You Give is an excellent book that everyone should read. Glad that you got two good ones!Cassidy wrote: "I’ve read “The Hate U Give” for the banned book option. I read “I’m Glad My Mom Died” for the NYT bestseller option. I rated both 5 stars and highly recommend!"
How did you like it? It wasn't as enjoyable for me as I thought that it would be. It has been on the NYT bestseller list for a long time.Paul wrote: "I'm reading "The Midnight Library" for the NYT option. That sounds awesome Sara!Sara wrote: "I read whispers under ground for book with a main character who is a person of color. listening to the series is great because it has little jazz interludes between chapters."
