Lea (leaspot) | 3807 comments Camilla, good luck with your list! I like how you picked them - I'm hoping to either read or ditch some of the older books on my TBR. I have read The Time Traveler's Wife, We Have Always Lived in the Castle, The Picture of Dorian Gray, Mexican Gothic, A Study in Scarlet, Gone Girl, The Fellowship of the Ring, Misery and Pride and Prejudice. All were worth reading, but my favorites are the last four I mentioned on your list. Hope you enjoy your choices!

Denise (derickert) | 1277 comments I loved The Lord of the Rings series, all were 5 star reads for me. Mexican Gothic was also a good book. Wish you luck with your challenge.

Patricia | 1206 comments Some good choices! I need to reread the Lord of the Rings. I didn't think I would like Gone Girl, but I loved it. Totally creepy. Howl's Moving Castle is also a favorite and one I've read a couple of times. Happy Reading!

Thank you! I'm making an early prediction that LOTR will be a 5 star read for me too.

Thank you! Good to hear that you enjoyed Gone Girl. To be honest I'm a little worried it won't live up to the hype. Can't wait to find out for myself.

This is a great list!!

LoTR, Misery, P&P...!!!. P&P just made me swoon; and the movie with Keira Knightly!! 😭😭

Murder on the Orient Express was really good. I did not figure out that killer in the least.

We have always lived in the castle is so off and just so good. Study in Scarlet was one of the better Sherlock Holmes story, but The Hound of the Baskervilles is excellent.

Good luck and happy reading

Haha, I haven't seen the P&P movie yet, I wanted to read the book first. Maybe when I finally get to the book I'll watch the movie too.
Thank you!
