2. Lady Stuff (Loryn Brantz) 3 stars
Finished my 2nd book. Yay! This one lived on my TBR shelf for only a year. But it still counts. 😄

3. My Unapologetic Diaries (Joan Collins) 4 Stars
Bought this limited/numbered/autographed edition last year. It’s now a collectible I actually read!

4. Somebody to Love? A 1999 rock and roll memoir by Grace Slick. It must be old, I listened to it on cassette tapes. 😁 3 Stars

5. The Soul of an Octopus (Sy Montgomery) 3 Stars

Only had this one a few years. No great shakes, but fascinating info about the many creatures of the ocean.

6. The Grapes of Wrath ( John Steinbeck) 5 Stars!
Thrilled to finally read this chunkster that’s been on my TBR forever. Such magnetic prose! A story that will stay with me for a long time.

7. What’s It All About? (Sir Michael Caine) 3 stars!

This memoir from the 90s has only been on my TBR since last year, but happy to finish it. He’s a great actor and storyteller. Too bad he skipped a few chapters on the audio version so we would buy his book! 😆

8. Fancy Francie and Her Magnificent Tail: A cute picture book I’ve been wanting to read after meeting the author. 3 stars

9. Have a Little Faith (Mitch Albom) Finally read this after it lived on my Kindle for almost 5 years. Yay! Love Mitch! Inspirational and uplifting! 4 stars

10. Last Circle of Love (Lorna Landvik) My fave author still keeps me laughing with this Best Book Ever! A group of churchy ladies come up with a spicy fundraiser that has the congregation in an uproar. But their idea begins to rekindle and reheat many relationships. 5 stars all the way!

Thanks Stephanie! Sometimes I think I read books that no one else reads. 😁 Vintage memoirs and children’s classics are my favorites, but then an weird or catchy title may turn my head. Every day is a reading adventure! Happy Reading to you!

11. The Gift of Age by Richard Lederer.

This local SD author/linguist is hilarious! I read this book (which was a Christmas gift) to my 93-yr-old mom and we both shared some great laughs. Filled with many jokes, trivia and very funny quips about aging. 3 Stars

12. Book Lovers by Emily Henry

Received this book last year as a b-day gift and so glad this wonderful read marks my final leap to the top of Pike’s Peak. Love books about books and also about editors like me. A fun and entertaining rom-com that made me smile.

13. Mr. Cooper is Super by Dan Gutman

Here’s my lucky 13th read! Had this book on my Kindle forever because I can’t resist a deal and a funny title. This book is a hoot! All about school kids and whether your teacher is from outer space or not. Very clever writing! 4 stars!

14. The Little Book of Hygge by Meik Wiking
Finally read this wonderful book that has lived on my Kindle for several years now. Who knew Hygge was my middle name? It describes almost all my favorite passions and pastimes. Let me light a candle, brew some tea , sit in front of the fireplace under my cozy Sherpa blanket and grab a heartwarming book. Yeah Baby! 4 Stars!

15. There Are Worse Things. I Could Do (Adrienne Barbeau) Another inspiring memoir by an amazing actress. I’ve been a fan since seeing Adrienne on Maude way back when. Didn’t realize she was the original Rizzo in Grease on Broadway. Saw that play so many times, but missed her! She’s been in so many of my fave Sci Fi films too. Heartwarming with many funny stories from behind the scenes. This book has been on my shelf for years! Glad to finally read it. 4 Stars!
