Shatter Labs was founded by Erik Shatter in 2179. The man was a genius, he invented hundreds of new ways to explore the ocean, which was the main point of Shatter Labs. In 2205, one of the greatest scientists at Shatter died in a tragic explosion. Dr. Alvin Muller was killed on September 17, 2205 when his lab blew up, destroying half of the building and hundred of people. Because of this accident, a gas form of his virus was released into the atmosphere.

Doctor Julia Diaz walked down the hallways of the building, Shatter Lab's was still under slight repair, but thankfully half was still intact and they could continue work. She yawned, putting the back of her hand to her face to cover it. While she was also a doctor and scientist, she happened to be one of the many infected by the virus during the incident. Resulting in her gaining a mutation named, Comakinetic Wings, while some mutations could be subtle hers was far from it. Two sets of wings covered her head and two appeared similar to curtain bangs on her forehead.
"Morning Doctor," someone greeted,
"Mornin," she replied.
She walked to the entrance waiting for her first patient of the day,

Rolling her eyes, Nyx threw open the doors to the building. She walked to the receptionist. "For Nyx Kalison?" She glared at the man. He mumbled something to himself and said, "Your doctor will be with you in a moment." She sighed and sat down. This place brang back too many bad memories.

Julia saw the receptionist glance over at her and jerked a finger towards Nyx, she nodded and walked over. While the others wore the usual and normal white and white, it was clear that Doctor Diaz had her own personal style and was more free in what she wore on a day to day basis.
"Hello, you must be Nyx, my name is Julia Diaz, or you can call be Doc," "Whatever you prefer," she spoke quickly and didn't seem to enjoy and delay in life.

She rolled her eyes. "Yeah, I'm Nyx. I'm here for my appointment." She wanted to add on, "not a life story," but that would probably be rude. Nyx studied Julia and her wings, which she had to admit, were... pretty cool.
