Each auction participant described what they would do to Evan if he or she won, none content to just kill him. What were you thinking as they, one by one, described the torture they planned to inflict? We’re you convinced that Van Sciver would win no matter what?

I expected Van Sciver to win. Only another Orphan could bring him down.

When I listened to what the bidders plan to do with Evan, my first thought was that he didn't kill enough people. They were all evil.

Well, Evan certainly teed-off several people! I did expect Van Sciver would come out on top, by whatever method worked for him.

I agree - I thought somehow Van Sciver and the Orphans would get Evan
