Angie Elle (angieelle) | 696 comments I had zero interest in this series until just before the second book came out. They were both all over Instagram, and I had major FOMO. That's not usually something that happens to me. (Except for Riley Sager books...LOL) I gave into the hype, and LOVED the first book. I haven't read the second yet, but I'm expecting to love it as much. HOEAB was so good, I bought SJMs entire series backlist. That is something I haven't been inspired to do in years, and it was so exciting!

Gwennie (blessedwannab) | 1116 comments It's so funny that you said that! You know how I felt about ToG since I've ranted about it over and over. My displeasure made me not even try ACOTAR. I probably wouldn't have ever tried HOEAB either if you and I hadn't done that first chapter blog post a couple of years ago. It dipped my toe back into the SJM hype, and i LOVED both the first and second books. I broke down and have the first three ACOTAR books now.

I do, too! I plan to read them this year. One a month, because my reading has been so slumpy I don't think I can commit to more than that.

That was such a fun post to do! Ugh...I am so jealous that you know what's ahead of me. LOL

Gwennie (blessedwannab) | 1116 comments I'm sticking to three series right now, and since I finished Inheritance Games, I'm moving Thrones and Rose's in. I'll start it this month. Are you?

No. I am planning on March. I want to reread HOEAB in January and follow it up with HOSAB in February. Then it's the ACOTAR series, and I am so excited!

A series limit is a great idea! It will motivate you to finish so you can start something new.

Gwennie (blessedwannab) | 1116 comments Exactly my thoughts. And I may dive back into old series I stopped reading, like Mercy Thompson.

That is on my list to read, too. But probably in 2024. I have so many series I want to read this year. I am thinking of making a spreadsheet.
