Our read-along theme for the month of April is Sci-Fi! Please comment your suggestions below and a poll will be set up next week for everyone to vote on.

Any ideas on what we should read?

I haven't heard of The Martian, but I've been meaning to read The 5th Wave. And yes it's sci-fi because it involves aliens.

Kylee (kyleeraereader) I've been wanting to read The 5th Wave too! How about Across the Universe by Beth Revis? I just got the whole series and wanted to start it.

Kylee (kyleeraereader) Also, I got Tandem by Anna Jarzab and really want to read it! It's about parallel universes so does that count as sci-fi?

message 6: by Nadia (new)

Nadia Uhlenhaker Into the Ever Night by Veronica Rossi! It's book one in a trilogy, but I'm not sure if I got the title correct.....

Mrs. Kristin (kristin_kay) | 33 comments I read 5th Wave last summer and it was pretty good. The "twist" was weird but I'm excited to read the sequel one day! I would recommend Poison Princess or Alienated. I desperately want to read The Glass Arrow too!

I have heard good things about Across the Universe so I would be okay with that. I haven't heard of Tandem, but I would say that parallel universes counts as sci-fi.

The first one is called Under the Never Sky and I have heard good things about that book too.

I'd be interested in reading Alienated.

Haley Connolly (liteartha) The 5th Wave is one of my favourite sci-fi books, I'd highly recommend it! I'd also be interested in reading Across the Universe.

Bridget (goodreadscombbooks) | 7 comments Maybe we could read The Raven Boys? I really want to read that soon, and I heard it's really good and have been hoping to read it sometime soon.

I want to read The Raven Boys too, but I don't think it is sci-fi. Maybe for a different theme though. :)

I LOVE the Raven Boys but it's more paranormal than sci-fi, sorry :/

Under the Never Sky is really great, I would have no problem re-reading it :)

Under The Never Sky is on my TBR list. I wouldn't mind reading the trilogy next month!

Lina (sansastark) | 58 comments I'm all for The 5th Wave, it's been on my TBR for a while now. And Across the Universe and Under the Never Sky sound interesting as well!

That's ok; I just thought it might be because when I was looking it up it said it was sort of sci-fi. :)

Christina Pilkington Have you read Ready Player One yet? It's been on my shelf for awhile and I was going to finally pick it up next month.

Dory (fishthatreads) These Broken Stars.

Maisie I would love if it was the 5th wave as well. I have been meaning to read it for a long time.
