Murder of Crows discussion

When reading this book, I noticed that the author has a similar writing style to Alex North. I do enjoy both authors' way of writing but I do think they both like to drag out the beginning of the book.

I wasn’t a fan of who the bone keeper ended up being. (view spoiler)[ Just the fact that it was so personal to Louise was what bothered me. I didn’t mind that she had some stuff in her past that seemed to be linked to what was going on but that her dad was the reason behind it all was silly. (hide spoiler)]

The layers in the book were good when it came to (view spoiler)[Caroline. It was all predictable (not sure if it was supposed to be a secret or not), however it was nicely layered. (hide spoiler)]
