Ellen | 3544 comments I must state up front that I have not watched Randy Pausch's lecture so far. I am not sure I can do it. This book moved me so much that I can only hope I could have the grace he had when faced with a terminal illness. I loved his outlook on life and death and even the topic for his last lecture: achieving your childhood dreams. He did that and more during the few months he had before pancreatic cancer took his life. Knowing he was leaving his beloved wife and 3 small children had to be excruciating but he lived every second of his life to the fullest and checked as many dreams off his list as possible. He must have been a lovely man and he is certainly gone too soon.
