UK Book Club discussion

Is anyone reading or has anyone read this book. I am about a third of the way through and I'm loving it. It's such a joy to find a book that's different but this one definitely is.

It looks great! I am very tempted to abandon a dull book...lol

I've read it. Margery took me with her on her exotic adventure, she was such a great character! The type of person you'd like to meet in real life. Was very different, as you say Maggie, must have taken a lot of research. You're a third of the way, the rest is just as good! 🙂

This book is the complete opposite of dull, Mary.

I have now finished the book and I loved it. Rachel Joyce is definitely one of my favourite authors. I have read several of her books and they never disappoint, with one exception. I loved The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry but, for some reason, I couldn't get into The Love Song of Miss Queenie Hennessy. Maybe it was just my frame of mind at the time and I should give it another go.

I've had that one recommended to me and was planning to read it this year. Your comments have pushed it nearer the top of my TBR pile!
