Hands down, without a shred of doubt:
I read it at 16 and couldn't relate to Holden Caufield. I read it again at 50 and realized that I did indeed hate the book.

I never want to read anything by Salinger again. I still have the book, but it's on a dusty, forgotten bookshelf in my basement along with the works of the Marquis de Sade (which I HAVE read). There it shall remain. It's a book, I can't destroy it, but I can hide it from the eyes of the world. It deserves no less.
Boy I do have one. The Sentinels Of Andersonville (by Tracy Groot)https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...
I don't fully understand why it has such relatively high ratings here in GoodReads. It is so far the only novel in my 1/10 rating list.
Unpopular opinion, but Razorblade Tears. I’m convinced that I read a different book than everyone else 😂
In the more than 50 years of reading books I remember only one that was total bs for me.I even liked The Catcher in the Rye, although it's not my favorite Salinger, he wrote better. I haven't read Secret Garden but saw the movie. Thought it was ok, but nothing to hate.
The one book in all these years I really despise is The Celestine Prohecy by James Redfield. It's from 1993 and was a real hype in those years. If you ever come across it: you're warned!
I completely despise any Colleen Hoover books won't even read them after the whole thing with the coloring book
Wait… what coloring book scandal ?Also I hated the 8th day. It was just so bad it took me MONTHS to get through.
She made a coloring book about the book It Ends With Us and about the story in it and quotes from the book. Completely grossed me out
