All The Dangerous Things by Stacy Willingham, believe it or not! A good psychological mystery-thriller.
This week was a great week for me I loved Migrations and All the Dangerous Things. Plus, my two current books are both great as well but I'll save them for next week.
My favorites this week would have to be Hell Bent by Leigh Bardugo and Ghost 19 by Simone St. James. Both spooky in their own rights. Hell Bent is more fantasy, gothic, dark academia while Ghost 19 is a short, horror story set in the late 50s.
I am reading a Brandon Sanderson book. I usually don’t read sci-fi but I am enjoying his Steelheart book.

That's a great book and a great series!

Michael Allegretto, an author from Denver who wrote only 9 books in the 1980's and 1990's. Two of his stand-alone novels (Shadow House + Night of the Reunion) are among my favorite crime novels for decades and I've reread them multiple times.Last year I finally tried his Jacob Lomax series (5 books) and liked them so much that I ordered them used from amazon and since January rererad them again.
I wish I knew WHY he stopped writing after 1995. He was in his forties and very promising. His father was a cop and Michael Allegretto's Lomax series resembles Dashiell Hammett's and Ross MacDonald's private eyes.
I'm reading Atomic Habits by James Clear, and loving every word so far. it's easy to read and follow, and almost every sentence is worth pausing and thinking about.
