Cheryl (cherylllr) Nominations wide open this month. Nothing that has been Book of the Month within the last 4 years, otherwise it's all a go. Any genre. Any format (but of course preferably more than one). Authors, you can even nominate your own books.

***The catch is, the person who nominated the winner must lead the discussion!** *

(And, when it comes to voting in the poll, remember to check the availability of the book to you in your preferred format and at your preferred price point. Vote only if you plan to discuss if your chosen book wins.)

One nomination and one second for each member.
Nominations open until February 15.
(Poll will be open Feb 15 through Feb 28, giving us a month to acquire a copy of the book... too often there are long hold times on library copies.)

Steven Burt | 25 comments I nominate my recently released novel, Saving Harry Truman.
Saving Harry Truman by Steven R. Burt
Not a romance but a mid-twentieth century adventure and family drama, with a romantic thread woven in. It follows the life of Frankie Brown, whose older brother was killed in 1948 when an assassin placed a bomb under the speakers podium at the Mormon Tabernacle, intent on killing Harry Truman during a whistle stop tour. Sixteen years later, a still-grieving Frank finds an old Philco radio in his rented and furnished apartment. While attempting to repair it, the apartment changes in appearance and he panics, tripping over the cord as he runs out into the hallway. Everything resets. Eventually he figures out he’s accidentally stumbled across a time travel device. What do do with it? How to manipulate it (it doesn’t come with instructions)? Who might it hurt? Discovered by government travelers from the future whose job is to keep rogue time travelers like Frank from screwing up their own future realities, he manages to keep one step ahead, until he doesn’t.
Saving Harry Truman
Available as both ebook or paperback, larger type formats

I nominate my recently released collection of short stories about time travel, "Locking Arms with Giants." This book, available on Amazon and Kindle, includes several stories about super heroes traveling through the timeline and the Dreamscape into the future or into the past to correct negative situations. A great short read!

Cheryl (cherylllr) (Authors, if you tell readers what formats your book is in, and give both the goodreads link and the smashwords or website or amazon link, readers will likely be more interested!)

(Readers, feel free to nominate something else! By 'lead the discussion' I don't mean stay glued to the topic thread and come up with all sorts of questions and comments, so please don't be intimidated by that 'catch.')

Anna Faversham (annafaversham) | 125 comments Cheryl said, Authors, you can even nominate your own books. Thank you and I've updated this.

I nominate my newly released

Mistake in Time by Anna Faversham Mistake in Time

which is a time travel book with romance. It's set mostly in the Swinging Sixties in London - a truly colourful time, but can they stay there?

Michael Pickard | 7 comments I nominate by time travel novel Forward and Back, released in February, 2022. From the back cover:
At the moment of his greatest professional achievement, renowned physicist Randy Weinberg wakes up eight years in the future.
He is legally dead, divorced from his wife, and a stranger to his son.
Enemies threaten him for the secrets of time travel. As a victim of his failed experiment, Randy is clueless.
Randy must decide whether to invent a tool that could be used to corrupt history, or refuse and see his wife and son murdered.
Perhaps there is another way.
Turn back the clock.

Cheryl (cherylllr) Readers, so far we only have authors' books. I'm guessing that most of these will be ebook only, and probably not in libraries. So, if those aspects are obstacles for you, please nominate something that meets your preferences!

Cheryl (cherylllr) Oops. Off to set up the poll now. I'll extend the voting until March 7. Sorry!

Cheryl (cherylllr) Poll may not be 'active' until midnight my time, sorry, GR makes it a bit awkward.

Please remember to vote only if you plan to participate in the discussion, should your choice win.
