The Perks of Being a Reader<3 discussion

I’ve heard so much im just putting it off because it’s so hyped and I didn’t enjoy the last very hyped book I read. *cough* they both die at the end *cough* but all my Pinterest friends love it 😭

It is good but I wouldn't say it's incredibly great! i mean, I really liked it because it's an easy read, flows very well and the dynamics between characters are very good, but I won't say it's deep or anything, you know? But Dante...Dante is *chef kiss*

i’m midway through legendary and the series so far is a really fun quick read. i will however say it’s a bit overhyped for what it really is but i’m always a sucker for a carnival fantasy type story

my friend read it and she loved it but i know her taste in books is way different then mine so i’m scared im gonna hate it💀

I highly recommend reading the Caraval series. Not only is it fast paced, and has excellent character arcs, but the world is just amazing and just-*chef’s kiss*. I can’t explain to you how imaginative and suspenseful this series is. There are so many plot twists, and nothing is what it seems. I can’t really compare it to any other book or series because it’s just that original and creative! I’d recommend giving the first book a try, and then decide if you want to continue. Some books aren’t for everyone, so if you decide you don’t like it, that’s understandable. But if you want to give it a try, I’d say go for it!

I personally loved Caraval! it was a very magical read, and I liked listening to it as an audio book while I followed along bc it brought the experience to life, if you will
