What does "art" mean to you? This can be interpreted very broadly! You could even go with a book authored by an Art or featuring a character named Art. Or ART. (I highly recommend Artificial Condition.) (It's funner if you've already read All Systems Red. They're short novellas, so read them both. Already read them? Read them again!)

I recently came into possession of The Secret Life of Paintings, authored by my British Art & Architecture professor at Lansdowne, so I expect I will read that in May.

Amy (amyml88) | 113 comments I went with Art Deco of the Palm Beaches. Architecture is art, right? Sometimes, anyway.

It has Art right in the title -- you are home free!

Cheryl (6of8) | 197 comments I read Fingerpainting on the Moon by Peter Levitt as it is one of the few books I thought had any hope of tying into art.

Sure! I'm counting Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow because the art in the video games is really important to the story.

Cheryl (6of8) | 197 comments I will also count Thinking in Pictures for this challenge, because pictures are art.

Jacqie | 93 comments I read Horse by Geraldine Brooks. The art in question is the portrait of a horse found by one of the protagonists. The story of this horse is the true main theme of the book. I love horses and the author knows horses so I loved this one.
