Loved the book and look forward to the rest of the series. Julie Garwood tends to write more on the romance side than other authors, but that can be a nice change of pace.

I loved Heartbreaker. The mystery was captivating. I love the characters, and I look forward to more in the series.

I thought the first 100+ pages of this book were deadly slow. I wanted to start skimming. Thankfully, it got more interesting as we went along.

If I'd ever read this author before, it was long ago. I enjoyed this book and will keep up with the group, God willin' and the crick don't rise. :-)

I skimmed the story for purposes of this discussion and enjoyed that slight “reread.” Funny, I didn’t remember who Heartbreaker was!
