VAMPIRES DON'T SPARKLE discussion

Sorry, I've been M.I.A. for a while, I'm back now. So...has anyone heard about this??? A remake of the 1987 vampire film The Lost Boys??? Seriously, why doesn't Hollywood just leave good movies alone?! What's next...a remake of The Exorcist???

Here's an idea!!! Go take a movie that bombed already and remake that, then maybe it'll be better!!

I agree wholeheartedly, Dan. But Hollywood is about making them big bucks, so they remake movies that did good box office and have a recognizable name.
Still, sometimes they do remake bad movies until they get them right--1939's "The Maltese Falcon" is considered a classic, but it was filmed twice before.

I hope they do it justice. Original Lost Boys is one of my favorite movies EVER.
