((Okay, lol, sure. Just gimme a minute, I’m about to switch classes and I’m frankly busy at the moment.))
Wren was just out wandering. Really for no particular reason, it was just him going out of his cabin in the woods to relax and take a walk. Nothing too important. However, he paused. There were a fair amount of witches, wizards, monsters, and so on surrounding one building like a mob. He tilted his head in curiosity, wondering what was going on until he saw a sign. ‘Oh, it must be some sort of shop.’ He thought, putting his hands into his pockets with a huff.
((Also, Michael, I work better with at least two to three descriptive liners. If not, I give up and don’t reply..ever. So just a heads up.))
Wren kept his eyes open, watching this all unfold. People were just bustling about, buying things (usually groceries and potions, he assumed), and then they went off on their day. He felt quite awkward just standing there, but he really had no idea what to do and left all his snails at home. After all, what was he supposed to do? He had only ever planned to go out on a short walk. Biting his lower lip, he thought about the situation for a minute. He could either go over there, check out the items, and leave uninterested (or interested. He didn’t know what they had over there, but nothing usually grabbed his attention in places like this). Or, second hand, he could straight up just walk away. The second one would be the best choice, hence meaning that he would have the ability to walk away without getting into any social interactions….
So he stayed put for just a little longer, narrowing his eyes.
Gunnar looked up from the counter annoyed and looked around the room annoyed at how noisy it was. He sighed as Cypher walked out from the back room carrying a small object then he saw how many people were there then turned back around.
‘Well, these people really don’t know how to run their own shop.’ The wild witch thought, a bit puzzled but not really…what would be a good word? Bewildered? Shocked? Okay, he wasn’t affected by the situation. Now, he shouldn’t laugh, of course. Good titans, no. Plus, that’s entirely out of his demeanor. Wren settled for just going over instead…and he regretted it almost instantly. He had to get past way too many people and his anxiety hit a skyrocketing point, but he wasn’t going to give in that easily. Yet. When he got to the front, Wren raised a brow before speaking softly, “are you not going to help your customers or what? They’re kind of waiting in line here.” Of course, he meant no offense whatsoever. None at all, truly. But a few people behind him growled in agreement.
Gunnar looked at him and said, "the old woman is out right now so you have to wait till she gets back besides it's a pain in the ass to deal with people." Cypher looked to gunnar and said, correction she said for you to help the people while she was out." Gunnar looked to cypher then yelled, "fuck off!"
Sighing, the brunette put his elbow on the counter, cupping his own cheek as he tilted his head. Pointed ears laid down, eyes twinkling with wonder, Wren hummed. “It appears to me that you are just being lazy.” He said after a moment. “If you plan to keep this shop open, you need to serve your customers. If you don’t want any customers, then close the shop until she returns. You’ll get whipped either way.” Wren’s eyes glinted with an unreadable expression. Could these two not see that it was obvious? What was the point of sleeping if you weren’t even going to work first? ‘What sit backs.’
Gunnar held his middle finger up then said, "fuck you also the old woman will be back in 2 minutes also who the fuck are you to patronize me?" Cypher sighed and headed back to the back trying not to get involved in what was about to happen.
Wren didn’t really care about the attempted insult. Instead, he rose up, tapping his fingers absentmindedly. “I’ll have to pass on that one. Plus, I’m not really patronizing you, just giving advice on how to actually run a shop.” Wren put his hands up, putting on an innocent expression. This would be why he ignored anything that meant he would have to talk. He always spoke ahead, but clearly these guys had little to no knowledge on what to do and what not to.
Gunnar clicked his tongue before he was hit on the head with a stick. A short old lady stood next to gunnar now holding a cane as gunanr looked down at her then said, "you're finally back woman"As gunnar said that cypher walked back out.
Wren was a bit taken back from the sudden appearance of the old woman, but nevertheless bowed respectfully. “Apologies for causing a bit of an argument, ma’am…they just haven’t been serving customers.” He said, suddenly becoming the shy witch he was known to be all over again. Rising back up, he put his hands back in his pockets, making sure to glance over at Gunnar. ‘Told you.’ He thought.
The old lady looked to him then said, "oh dear it's fine i expected Gunnar to do nothing so i went to get something close by also cypher is always helping with the stuff in the back." The old lady looked to the crowd then said, "well back to work also how can i help you today?"
((Lmfaooo yuhhhhe’s trans so dw 🕺))
Wren smiled at her, subconsciously fiddling with the hem of his cape as he pulled his hands out of his pockets. He nodded, showing that he understood, before taking a step back and letting a few people come forwards. Maybe now he should actually look around, just to not have come over here for nothing. So, watching a few more people file in line, Wren turned away and started looking through a few things while someone handed the old woman a potion they wanted to buy.
The old lady told the person the price while gunnar laid his head back on the counter wanting to go back to sleep. As the old lady finished helping the person cypher walked out from the back with a large crate.
sorry i typed that in the wrong topic also i needed to check something since my laptop is acting up)
(so its now night time yall)
The Forest was alive with crickets and chirps. Fireflies, moths, and other nighttime creatures and beings Sang with the nighttime forest. All was calm and soothing, until the forest went quiet. the chirps stopping, creatures fleeing.. to nothing.
Untill the ground rumbled at the expense of a deep sounding stomp.
Gunnar and cypher were busy cleaning up the store so they could eat afterwards. Before Gunnar stopped and looked outside. Cypher looked at gunnar and sighed.
The forest stay quiet. The scorce of the sound ranging from maybe a group of is pulling a prank. some magic going wrong, A large creautre being mad.
oh no he just knows what gunnar is about to do)) Gunnar kicked the front door open and walked outside before yelling. "REVEAL YOURSELF YA BITCH MADE COWARDS"
The forest stayed as is. The only sound breaking the silence was a dim lighted fire like fox trying to get his paw off of a bush.
