As discussed in main thread this was originally published in 2020 South Africa by PRH and by a small press in the possibly US later the same year. One wonders if pre UK publication in 2022 some thought might have been given to retitling it given the success of Sarah Winman’s novel of the same name (1000 x more Goodreads ratings)
But my second favourite on the list and my preferred winner.
Very hard to summarise without lot of detail but an intriguing, imaginative and intelligent novel.
