I just highlighted in my book I'm reading and it almost gave me anxiety haha but I want to keep memory of areas I really enjoyed.

Okay I felt like I was being an old head! lol I'm hoping I can start pulling out more from my books as I annotate.

Totally makes sense and is why I'm a little hesitant but I guess I'll try it with one book and see if I hate it

I don't highlight but I like to write down any quotes that I loved or stuck out to me. If your scared to highlight the book, you can use sticky tabs to remember the pages instead, it won't ruin the book, and you'll still be able to remember the parts you liked best

If I really really like a book I will take the time to annotate but I don't find myself doing it often
