What's up!
I am Ezinwanyi, the challenge addict! I have been here at TCF for a long time and I love it here. I am amazed at the growth of the group as well as the creative challenges my fellow mods come up with. This group balms my competitive spirit!
I am a Texan, by way of Chicago, and of Nigerian descent. Grew up in Arlington but now living in Dallas Suburbs. I am a wifey and mommy of 3 adorable kids. Profession: attorney--though I look forward to winning the Mega Millions lottery soon.
I am a huge sports fan (anything Dallas & Chicago) and I am a lover of "love".
I prefer Romance novels, which could be Historical, contemporary or PNR/UF and even gay romance (*gasp*). Do not recommend a book unless there is love and at least an HFN. I don't like those suspense mystery thriller books like Gone Girl.
Other than my family, I love all things Spartacus. I also have a crush on Chris Hemsworth (THOR) and Theo James (Tobias "Four" Eaton).
Current TV Show: The Arrow, the Walking Dead, Outlander, Black Sails, Being Mary Jane, General Hospital, Young & the Restless, Sometimes Bold & the Beautiful, Switched by Birth, Jane the Virgin.
*I still watch Spartacus a couple of times a week*

P.S. I am pretty blunt and honest, so if I offend you, sorry about that.

Hello, everyone. I'm Lanelle. I was born and raised in the great state of Arizona. My husband and I have 6 kids and 15 of the cutest grandchildren in the world.
I don't remember reading very much until junior high school when my best friend and I decided to see who could finish all the Nancy Drew books our school library had first.
I still enjoy mystery books, but now that I'm older, I prefer some romance in there. And if this romantic suspense novel is set in the 1800's, it's even better. Books like:
Another thing I like to do is find an out-of-copyright book that I know nothing about and see if it's any good. I've found a few flops, but I've also discovered some forgotten treasures. I'm trying to come up with a reading challenge along these lines :)
It's been so much fun reading with you wonderful people.

Greetings and Salutations! My name is Trea and I'm from Fairborn, Ohio (home of Wright Patterson Air Force Base). I've lived here pretty much my entire life, but as my dad is from Chicago, I'm a Chicago Bears fan.I'm married and I have two children, but only one lives with me currently. I'm a stay at home mom and I help homeschool my son during the week.
I try to read a book a day, even with everything going on around the house. My focus has been on romance primarily, and I like to read across the sub-genres of romance. However, I also enjoy reading the occasional mystery, fantasy, or Sci-Fi novel as well.
In addition to reading, I enjoy crocheting, cooking, playing RIFT or World of Warcraft, and watching movies or TV. Listing favorite authors is difficult for me, as I have tons, so it is hard to narrow the list down! However, some of my favorite movies and shows include: The Hunt for Red October, Letters to Juliet, Shining Through, The Untouchables, The Cutting Edge, Castle, Criminal Minds, Sons of Anarchy, Star Trek, and The Librarian movies/The Librarians show.
Feel free to PM me anytime!
Hello, My name is Donna. I am from Pennsylvania. I'm married with three children. One is still in high school, one in college and the other has moved out. I'm a stay-at-home mom who cyberschools my youngest son. I also have 2 cats & a dog who follow me about all day long.
I love to read anything fiction that I can get my hands on. Sometimes those books do inspire challenges so don't be surprised to see one inspired by something on my book list.
I look forward to creating some fun challenges for all of you! Feel free to PM me anytime. I am always available to help if I can.

Hi everyone! My name is Erica and I live in the very far northeastern corner of Illinois, just a half mile from Lake Michigan. I am on my second marriage and have two beautiful children, a stepson, and two amazing grandkids. And a very sassy Russian Blue kitty named Pepper.
I have lots of hobbies but reading often pushes the others aside. My favorite genre is mystery/thriller but I spend a fair amount of time reading biographies, memoirs, historical fiction, YA and about anything else that is recommended to me or grabs my interest. Alexander McCall Smith, Louise Penny and Fredrik Backman are some of my favorite authors (which is thoroughly unfair to all the others I love).
Other interests are knitting, stitching, running (on hold due to age-related pains), playing piano and bread baking. And any excuse at all to spend time with a grandchild!
I am honored to have been added to your group of moderators, and hope to be of service to this wonderful reading community.

Hey everyone,
turns out I've been a mod here for so long that my original "meet the mods" post is buried in a long archived post from forever ago... and apparently I never got around to making a new one. 😅
I'm originally from Germany, but have been living in Finland since 2008. Somehow, I've managed to acquire a person insane enough to want to marry me (and think it a good idea, even! People are so weird these days... 🤔), so that'll be happening next summer. No children and no intention of ever changing that, but I'm a servant to two demanding felines.
I read fast and a lot, across a variety of genres and several languages. Favourite genres include fantasy, sci-fi, historical fiction, mystery/thriller, M/M romance, and non-fiction on whatever subjects happen to catch my interest. Audiobooks keep me awake and sane at work, so I'm a great fan of those in addition to whatever I have going on my Kindle and in print.
Hobbies aside from reading every book I can get my hands on include travelling (if only I had more time and money!), watching TV shows (she writes, wearing a Game of Thrones shirt), reading and writing fanfiction (no, I'm not telling you what and where 😉), and HEMA (Historical European Martial Arts), which I started doing this spring. (So beware - I have a sword and I kinda, sorta know how to use it! 😁)
I've had a lot of fun being a mod in this group these past ten years - looking forward to the next ten! 😊
