This is one of the few books by Elizabeth that I haven't already read so this will be a nice surprise for me. It is said to be a 'haunting romance set in the majestic Scottish Highlands.' Just right for February, I think.

Please post if you have read it and if you will be reading it with the group.

Dianne Wonderful, thank you Tracey! Looking forward to this one.

Diane Barnes 60 pages in and it's beginning to smack of Diana Gabaldon's Outlander series. I never read that so I might be wrong. Scotland, time travel? It's a little too romancy for me, which I wasn't expecting.

Heather | 10 comments Hi Tracey! I just started the book. Again, what I notice similar to the last book is the descriptive gift Goudge has for landscape. We were treated to the blustery Channel Islands and now to the mystical Scottish Highlands. Judy has been drawn to the area, and I can’t wait to find out how and why.

Diane Barnes Her descriptions of the natural world are pretty amazing.

Heather | 10 comments I’ve finished part 1. I do like the eeriness, and the feeling that, as the reader, I’m climber towards answers. But also, this is a little creepy. They’re suggesting being possessed by people from the past. While this is supposed to be a romance, being possessed is horror! Who are these two when they’re not being possessed? It’s causing Judy to mistreat Charles, but why is he putting up with this?

Kelly (marquis784) I am unable to obtain a copy of this book unless I want to pay a lot of money for it. My library some of her other books so I will see what I can get next.
