study group {high school} discussion

hello members! this group at this point is still fairly new, so i'd be surprised if anyone actually reads this. that actually leads me into the first matter of business...
invite your friends! even if your friends aren't in school but need a study buddy, invite them here.
also, an info topic over study groups was posted, so feel free to launch some study session groups. just make sure to read the information topic so you understand how to manage one.
last thing for now is that we're still accepting mod applications! fill out an application and i'll reach out to you soon. there are more specific positions this time around to make this easier to manage, considering we're all likely here because school sucks. so here are some options to consider!
- decorator: a group decorator would probably work mostly with keeping the group looking clean and pretty and will probably be asked to update the group masthead occasionally, depending on seasons, holidays, and events.
- study group manager: since study groups are mostly member run operations, it would be this mods job to make sure they are all running smoothly!
- announcement coordinator: announcements and newsletters would be sent out by this mod. they will take information and ideas given by fellow mods to arrange small announcements and weekly newsletters.
- event planner: this mod would be in charge of taking mod and member input to arrange fun and engaging events for the group.
Personally i dont know if i could do those jobs but i want to be able to do something .Maybe study Group manager but how do i submit an application?

i just wanted to quickly remind everyone that you are free to create your own topics! i know that we all come from different walks of life and we all take some very different classes, so please, create your own study topic or study group so you can focus on what classes you are taking. the classes added are just some options at my school, personally, but i know there are tons and tons of other options at different schools and their various levels of education.
so please, make your own topics!
**mods will make sure that all topics and study groups are within appropriate parameters {no ~special~ health class studies...you know what i mean} and will not hesitate to delete a subject that would be deemed inappropriate or could make any other member feel uncomfortable.

mods will most updates, events, and other announcements here
