I have read Before I Let Go by Kennedy Ryan for book by a BIPOC Author. It was a 5 star for me. It could also be used for the Book Set in the South. I read Tenant of Wildfell Hall by Anne Bronte for Classic Book Which I Have Never Read Before. I listened to Demon Copperhead by Barbara Kingsolver for my Audiobook and it is excellent. I recommend it for everyone! I read All the Dangerous Things by Stacy Willingham as a Book Set in the South. I am now listening to Finlay Donovan Jumps the Gun by Elle Cosimano for Book That Makes You LOL. This is a go-to series for me now. This is the third book in the series. Most of the staff are trying to complete the whole board, so don't worry if you aren't completing as quickly as me. I am filling in what I can in the beginning from my regular reading and it will be harder as the year progresses.
I'm definitely taking it easier at this time. at first, since the discussions are divided by months, I thought we had a new card every month; once I realized that isn't the case, I'm relaxing and doing the same. probably be cramming a bunch in in November and December
I am working on finishing a paperback I started like a year ago or more, lol. I’m a big fan of audiobooks but am trying to physically read some books too. The current paperback is called The Nerd Who Loved Me by Vicki Lewis Thompson. My current audiobook is called The Ice Harvest by Scott Phillips, it’s a bingo spot for a book recommended by a favorite author which is James Patterson.

That one has some nice awards for a first novel!Christina wrote: "I am working on finishing a paperback I started like a year ago or more, lol. I’m a big fan of audiobooks but am trying to physically read some books too. The current paperback is called The Nerd W..."
I just finished As You Wish: Inconceivable Tales from the Making of the Princess Bride by Cary Elwes. It marks off the spot on the bingo card for "A book that makes you LOL" it was very enjoyable with lots of good humor
Did a good old fashioned juking of the stats by including a book club book in one of the categories: "The Bookseller" for place wanting to visit -- Gay Paree.
I'm reading the Colorado kid by Stephen king to make up for my previous author with the same initials being a pen name.
Everyone that I know that has read this book loved it!Rebekah wrote: "I just finished As You Wish: Inconceivable Tales from the Making of the Princess Bride by Cary Elwes. It marks off the spot on the bingo card for "A book that makes you LOL" it was very enjoyable w..."
That's a great author choice for S.K. I have only every read one of his books. 11/22/63 I really loved that book!Sara wrote: "I'm reading the Colorado kid by Stephen king to make up for my previous author with the same initials being a pen name."
She is now one of my go-to authors!Brooke Marsh wrote: "Kelly wrote: "What is everyone reading for February?"

Sara wrote: "i am reading the winter of the witch for my nyt bestseller."winter of the witch was good enough but very much like a saga. reminded me of some irish literature where it just keeps going and every time you think it will get better, it doesn't. was honestly glad it ended. might've meant more to me if i was better versed in russian history and lore.
Sara wrote: "I'm reading the Colorado kid by Stephen king to make up for my previous author with the same initials being a pen name."i was disappointed by the colorado kid but not for the quality of the writing. it is definitely better than most of his more recent stuff as king wasn't trying to outdo himself on gore and gross. i wouldn't even qualify this as horror; not sure what i'd call it. this would've been written before king was famous so he didn't have to write so commercially. what disappointed me is how this is usually tied in to the show haven but has nothing to do with the show. absolutely nothing except it maybe takes place in the same universe but not even the same town. came into the book with false expectations.
