Book Cover Reviews discussion

I have two covers I would like a review on. Suggestions on each and then maybe the better one out of the two.

Hello Anthony! Thanks for submitting these. Couple of thoughts:
* While #1 has all the elements, it feels a bit cold and stark to me.
* I like the warmth and "welcoming humanness" of #2 but it's not as readable as #1. If you were to lighten or ghost back the image a bit, the main texts might be easier to read.
