Spring - for baseball fans, time for spring training and opening day! Although we think of baseball as an American sport, there are players from all over the world. Players from the following countries have been represented on the major league rosters in recent years: Aruba, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Cuba, Curaçao, Dominican Republic, Germany, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Panama, South Africa, South Korea, Taiwan, Venezuela.

In recognition of the international aspects of American baseball, read a book set at least 50% in one of the countries listed above.

Does this work for set in JAPAN?


In the description only one of the stories specifies Tokyo, but the stories are all set in/around this city.
