Ella's eyes widened as ran through the forest. "That is the last time I go into a Twoleg Place," She stopped at a tree a collapsed. "If I knew how to hunt life would be so much easier..." She mumbled to herself.
Scorch was walking along in the forest slowly. He got into his hunting crouch and pounced on a squirrel killing it swiftly with one bite. He looked over seeing a white she-cat.
Ella's eyes widened when she spotted another cat and she bolted up the tree. The last thing she wanted was to get into a fight with a cat. "Please don't hurt me... It's bad enough I almost killed by a dog,"
"I wouldn't dream of hurting you."Scorch told her slowly carrying his caych toward the tree." May I ask why you almost got killed by a dog" he looked up the tree and into her eyes.
"You know you're a desperate cat when you try to steal dog food," Ella mewed simply. "It was just a nibble! I mean, really... He didn't need to overreact over one stupid piece of...whatever it was!"
"Would you like my squirrel."Scorch chuckled and left it under the tree as he backed away from her. "I promise I wont bite."he purred and watched her slowly.
Ella narrowed her eyes. You know better than to back down... You'd really risk your pelt over dog food again? She carefully jumped down the tree and carefully poked the squirrel, then sniffed it. She looked back over to Scorch with a confused look, then she just sat down and ate it without saying anything. As long as she could stop her belly from growling, she was fine.
"So I'm guessing you don't know how to hunt by from what your story implied."Scorch watched her movements carefully."Would you like me to teach you how to hunt?"Scorch asked her calmly. He might have been a mean and aggressive tom but he would not let this beautiful She-cat get torn up.
"I could try that," Ella nodded a bit after finishing the squirrel. "I can't promise I won't seem like an idiot, though. The only hunting I know is stealing,"
"We are all bad at first but you will get better. I can promise you that."Scorch purred loudly at her and nudged her gently.
"You really think so?" Ella looked down at her paws, shyly. "I'm Ella,"
((Sorry for the late reply!!))
((Sorry for the late reply!!))
((Its fine:p))
"I'm Scorch."he replied gently looking at here curiously." So tell me a little about yourself.."he responded softly

"Well...my birth name isn't Ella, I've lived by myself for who knows how long, I really don't like me..." She mewed. "Anything specific?"
((Again, sorry for the long wait. Loud noises takes my mind off of things... I wouldn't blame you if you're annoyed with how long it takes me to reply...))

((You are perfectly fine. I fell asleep though:p))
"Well I am sorry that you dont like yourself. I do think you are very gorgeous though."Scorch told her gently looking at his paws." Inside and out." He looked at her again slowly

((It takes me 10-20 minutes for me to fall asleep. It's mostly because I get scared of having a nightmare again.))
Ella shook her head in disagreement. "'Pretty' and 'Ella' doesn't mix. Dark said the same thing as you a few days ago,"
Ella shook her head in disagreement. "'Pretty' and 'Ella' doesn't mix. Dark said the same thing as you a few days ago,"
"I did not simply say pretty."Scorch started scenting the air."Now follow me amd be quiet. It is time to learn how to hunt."he said softly walking deeper into the forest.
Ella sighed quietly and followed, but then ended up glancing at a bush. No, no. We're not running away again. This might be your only chance to learn how to hunt. She looked away and picked up her speed a bit after realizing she was lagging.
"Now copy my stance."Scorch got into his hunting stance and waited to see her copy him so he could correct her if he needed to.
Ella bit her lip nervously and dropped into her Hunter's Crouch. She was a little too high and her tail was moving slightly. Other than that, she was fine.
"Lower your body and keep your tail still." Scorch smiled at her slowly" open your mouth and scent the air and when you smell your prey stalk queitly and make sure it wont smell you and pounce"he told her
"Open mouth? Weird..." Ella whispered to herself, but she did it anyways. She stopped her tail from moving and got down to a good level, but she looked like a lopsided badger.
Scorch walked over closer to her and fixed her paw placement with his paw carefully."Opening your mouth heightens the sense of smell."Scorch backed away from her to let her concentrate on her first hunt
"I kinda figured that out," Ella muttered to herself. "Wait, how does one actually kill the prey?"
"You pounce and bite its neck. It breaks your preys neck."Scorch answered her question easily. He smiled at her reassuringly.
"Ah," Ella nodded, understanding. "The sort of makes sense..." She drowned out everything until she found a small mouse. Stay...stay... Almost there... Once she got close enough, she pounced and bit its' neck, but it was little delayed.
"I did come close to catching my own piece of prey once, when I was little. I stepped on a dried up leaf and it ran away," Ella sighed at the memory. "I was only a couple whiskers away from catching it,"
"You will get better and if you have a day where you can't get any prey. I live under that old tree stump over there. I will not mind getting up to help you."Scorch licked her ear gently and backes away from her slightly
"Thanks for helping me. I might just be able to prove those idiots back in the alleys wrong about saying was born kittypet," Ella purred and returned Scorch's lick.
"If you ever need anything don't hesitate to ask. I will even teach you how to defend yourself a little. Ella I hope you realize you are very gorgeous."Scorch said softly clearing his throat backing up towards his den.
"I'd like to see you try to make me believe that," Ella whispered to herself and shrugged. She glanced at the dead mouse and rolled it over to Scorch. "Take it. I don't have much use for it, plus you gave me your squirrel. It's only fair to give you something. I'll see ya soon!" She mewed cheerfully and padded away.
Delilah walked around the forest, smelling the air. She could sense that it was full of prey. Her belly rumbled, so she decided to go hunting. She crawled stealthily around, searching for food.
Dark looked around and sighed sadly. I can't find Ella anywhere... I just hope she's ok... He suddenly spotted Delilah and silently followed her. I should at least find out what she's doing. I have nothing better to do.
Delilah spotted a rabbit out of the corner of eye. She quickly chased after the rabbit, outrunning the creature. It didn't take long for Delilah to catch the rabbit, and dragged its body for a good place to eat. She saw Dark looking at her. "What are you doing here?" she asked curiously.
"Oh. I actually saw another cat go by, but I don't know if it was her" Delilah said. "Would you like to eat?" she asked.
"Nah, but thank you anyways," Dark mewed. "Her name is Ella. She has beautiful white fur and beautiful amber eyes..." He sighed dreamily as he remembered Ella's appearance.
Suddenly, Delilah remembered seeing Ella not too long ago. "Wait, the cat you were describing... I saw her go by a little bit ago. I can show you where she is" she said.
"She's probably heading to the Twoleg Place," Dark mewed with a shrug. "I don't like to interrupt her while she's going through the stuff,"
"Does she usually go to Twoleg Place?" Delilah asked. "Oh, how rude of me. I never introduced myself. My name is Delilah. And yours?" she asked.
"Nice to meet you, Dark." Delilah smiled at the tom. "Anyways, I can teach her how to hunt if she wants to learn" she added. She started taking small bites out of the rabbit she caught.
"She's actually doing pretty good on her own. We bump into each other ever couple of days and I hunt for us. I'm a little to shy to ask if she wants to learn how to hunt or fight..." Dark looked down at his paws.
Scorch silently stalked through the forest again. He smelled Ella and looked around confused by where her scent was coming from.
((*Through. If you use threw, a twoleg would've come along and threw him into the air. X) I doubt Scorch would let a twoleg near him.))
Dark narrowed his eyes and climbed a tree. Something's fishy. He felt a little fear as he got to the top of the tree. Oooh, not good... Ok, Dark, don't look down. Focus a white fluffy ball of fur- there! Wait...what? "What? She- she's hunting! This can't just happen! She's never bothered to watch me! How on earth- uh oh," The branch he was on broke and he was lucky enough to grab the next branch below it. "Dang...that's a long way down," He shook his head to clear it and just found his way down. "How? How, how, how? You can't just suddenly know how to hunt... Can you?"

((Sorry.. Im scatterbrained.. My nieces got kidnapped..))
Scorch stalked up a tree to silently watch the tom. He felt a rise of jealousy in his chest. He shook it away and frowned

((Omg, I'm so sorry!))
"Hey..." Dark narrowed his eyes at the tom. "Why can I smell a hint of Ella on you? Oh, this is not good at all," He started pacing. "No, you can't just suddenly know how to hunt. You need to learn..."

Scorch jumped from tree to tree to get out of their view. He wanted to stay hidden and listen to them talk
